Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner walk hand-in-hand out of Sam’s by the Beach restaurant after dining out on Thursday (March 7) in Santa Monica, Calif.
Earlier that same day, the 40-year-old actress was spotted at her daughter Violet‘s school after attending parent/teacher conferences with some fellow moms.
Last week, Ben and Jen‘s son Samuel celebrated his first birthday! To celebrate, Jen took Samuel to the Napa Valley Grille.
Jen, who was happy-as-can-be, dined on chef Taylor Boudreaux‘s chicken kale salad while Samuel ate grilled chicken and steamed vegetables, according to People.

Ben was never seen with his kids once or twice a day. During promo for Argo? Are you joking? He wouldn’t have had the time. He’s with them now as much as he was before the Oscars.

Why oh why do so many want trouble for this family. They were out for an evening and walked out to the paps, naturally! But what should they do, hide inside?? Charlotte is right, Ben was never with his kids once or twice a day, the man works and has a busy life. He is with them plenty. Does anyone realize he has meetings, writes, goes to work or whatever but at night in their home they are living a life, just like all of us. I wish them the very Best and see no reason to doubt they are happy and loving life! I will say one more time that the Thank You Ben gave Jennifer at the the Oscars paid homage to the years of work and sacrifice they have both made to see Ben climb back up from all the tabloid POISON that nearly ruined him. He gave her a Beautiful Thank You acknowledging what she does for him and their life together. We should all be so lucky! He had already pledged his love and devotion in every way possible at the premieres, Film Festivals, Screenings, Guild Awards, Critics Choice, SAG’s, Golden Globes, Bafta’s and this was the ultimate and he gave her the ultimate thank you and promise! Can you people not wish them well and remember they have a family and we should all want the Best for any family!
How does anyone know he is drinking again????? I drive my husband all the time, I like to drive. Maybe they were in her car?? Good Grief, how badly some want trouble for these two people. Ben is up again so now we must bring him back down???
Even if he did have a few beers or a few glasses of wine, is that a big deal? He’s obviously not falling down drunk. There are so many lousy marriages and relationships in Hollywood it’s weird that people pick on this one which anyone without a grudge can see seems to be working just fine.

if ben was seen with his kids its because he wasnt working and now he is writing a script for live by night. He said he writes ‘at a small office hut’ in his house. And he didnt do enough writing in nov-dec because Jen was working and he was taking care of the kids. That’s why he dropped out of Focus so he could finish the writing
Uh oh, looks like they both have their grumpy faces on for the photogs again. Playing loving, happy family/couple before Oscars when their pic was taken had a purpose, but now that he won Oscar, back to being pissy about pics and being seen!! Such a transparent strategy!!

LOL just because she’s driving doesn’t mean it’s because he’s drunk. I’ve seen tons of photos of them where she drives and he sits in the passenger seat in the middle of the day. Not everyone likes driving and with crazy paparazzi following them it probably gets stressful so they take turns. I saw photos one time of them switching off driving duties while sitting at a red light in the middle of the day.

It’s because he works.He doesn’t live off people’s money and fame like other people.what he has he earned by hard work.He’s just taking advantage that he has more work now.
They seem like a nice couple. If he did have to much to drink good for them that she drove at least they are being responsible. I wish them happiness along with their beautiful children.
