Joaquin Phoenix shares a laugh with girlfriend Heather Christie while out and about on Tuesday (March 12) in Venice, Calif.

The 38-year-old actor and Heather kept close as they went for a barefoot stroll before returning back to their car.

Joaquin recently wrapped up work on his latest film Lowlife, which also stars Jeremy Renner and Marion Cotillard – the James Gray-directed drama is set to hit theaters later this year.
