James Franco Covers 'Bullett' Spring 2013

James Franco is bright and colorful for Bullett magazine’s Spring 2013 issue.

Here’s what the 34-year-old actor had to share with the mag:

On being considered a heartthrob: “I don’t know if I ever tried to break away from being considered a heartthrob. I actually think there are times when a role calls for you to look your best.”

On criticism: “Criticism can sting but not for long. At this point I’ve heard it all, good and bad. I can take anything. If anyone wants to say that my doing these things makes me a jerk, that’s not about me—that’s about people reacting to me. I don’t need to be liked for anything I do. I put out a lot of different kinds of material, and maybe people read that as egotistical. Or maybe, since a lot of it does involve some aspect of me, they find it self-aggrandizing. But there’s a long tradition of artists using themselves. Look, I know I’m not perfect. And, who knows, maybe a part of it has to do with self-obsession. But it’s also about using this weird thing that is a public persona as raw material for creative projects.”

Oz co-star Mila Kunis on James: “I think people would be surprised by what a calm and decent person he is. I don’t want to get too personal but he’s very humble. People know that he’s well-educated and that he’s well-read, but they might not know that he’s also a really good guy.”

i honestly believe that he takes drugs dont ask me why i do i just….do he seems like the type where his moods fluctuate really quickly. but then again a lot of hollywood stars use some sort of drug to take them away from their reality.

Those pics are outstanding, such a hot looking guy.

James Franco might not be perfect but he comes pretty close. I love his confidence in undertaking various projects and he has a goofy sense of humor.

Loved him in Oz and loved him in Spring Breakers. He has such a unique style, that works perfectly. Glad he’s having an amazing year, long may it continue.

James is a sexy sexy man and so talented!

@lala: You’re basing the fact that his mood changes every once awhile as your reasoning for thinking he does drugs… Ummmm… Fail. Obviously you’ve never been out in the real world, EVERYONES mood changes… does that mean everyone is on drugs?

what Anna explained I am shocked that a mother able to profit $5077 in one month on the computer. did you see this webpage…. http://www.miniurl.com/sa/work-at-home

I agree with @sarah. He’s true to himself and seems really grounded. In the right role he is an excellent actor. Just don’t get him to host any TV shows.

He is a good looking man. The fact that he is able to do so much things, shows that he is highly disciplined, though multi-talented or not is subjective.
