Sophie Lowe: Alice in 'Once Upon a Time' Spin-off!

Sophie Lowe has landed the coveted role of Alice in the upcoming series Once: Wonderland, a spin-off of the massively popular fantasy show Once Upon a Time, according to TV Line.

The 22-year-old Aussie actress joins British actor Peter Gadiot as Cyrus, “Alice’s love interest who has a mysterious background,” and Michael Socha as the Knave of Hearts, a “sardonic adventurer, man of action, loner and heart-breaker.”

The pilot episode will be filmed in Vancouver after Once Upon a Time wraps its second season this Spring. The show has been envisioned as a standalone series a la American Horror Story and is being created by the original show’s team.

I think she’ll make a better alice then the one that was in the Tim Burton movie.

spin offs are so dumb, do not want. i wish they’d focus on making ouat really good rather than doing a spin off :(

If Sophie Lowe’s fame grows from this, will the media start referring to her as SoLo?

Now that Alice has been cast, I am ready to see this take on Wonderland! I am so glad that with my DISH Hopper, I won’t miss out on the premiere. With my late work schedule at DISH, I appreciate the fact that my DVR records every primetime show on the four major networks. I like that I never have to worry about time overlaps interfering with this new twist on Alice’s journey.
