Cory Monteith in Rehab: Missing Two 'Glee' Episodes

Cory Monteith will be missing the final two episodes of the fourth season of Glee while he receives treatment in rehab for substance addiction, according to Deadline.

The 30-year-old actor voluntarily checked himself into a rehab facility over the weekend with the support of his girlfriend Lea Michele and the production team on his hit series.

Cory is a beloved member of the Glee family and we fully support his decision to seek treatment,” Glee producer 20th Century Fox TV said in a statement. “Everyone at the show wishes him well and looks forward to his return.”

Glee is still in production on the final two episodes of this season and the sudden absence of Cory‘s character Finn Hudson will reportedly be explained.

my neighbor’s mother-in-law makes $69/hour on the computer. She has been out of a job for 5 months but last month her pay was $17419 just working on the computer for a few hours. Here’s the site to read more… http://www.miniurl.com/sa/work-at-home50

I have so much RESPECT for Cory. He will now have a happier life and so will those who love him, Michelle, his family and friends. I have a brother who has had a problem for many years and he has brought down our family because of it. Druggies drain people, they ruin peoples lives and are selfish. CONGRATS CORY, for not only thinking of yourself. But also those around you!

Dating Lea Michele would send anyone to rehab.

@Bryan: that is incredibly rude! This is a serious matter and making idiotic comments like that is unecessary!

Is this true? Because today is April 1st! And in my country is normal to lie and do pranks today! But if it is true good luck Cory and take care! :)

Interestingly Monteith went on to tell about his decision to disclose his addiction issues with People magazine back in 2011 because he hoped being open and honest about his addiction in the hope that it would help others.

Which leads to the obvious question. Is Cory Monteith ready to finally be open with himself to deal with his own demons and addiction issues too?

It’s sad to hear that Cory Monteith will be missing from the last two episodes of Glee season four but good to hear that he’s taking care of himself. I won’t be missing the last two episodes even though I’ll be at work at DISH when it’s on. I’m going to set up my DISH Hopper with the PrimeTime Anytime feature, to record all primetime programs that come on FOX. This way, I don’t have to worry about setting up a weekly timer for Glee.
