    Betrayal Says:
    Daniel Craig, Rachel Weisz to Star in Broadway ‘Betrayal’
    Producer Scott Rudin has lined up his latest star-heavy Broadway revival, tapping Daniel Craig and Rachel Weisz to appear in a fall production of Harold Pinter’s “Betrayal” directed by Mike Nichols.

    Show re-teams the director (“Spamalot”) and the producer (“The Book of Mormon”), also behind last season’s Nichols-helmed revival of “Death of a Salesman.” That limited-run staging logged powerhouse B.O. and won Tonys for play revival and for director.

    Craig, too, has a track record with breaking box office records on the Rialto. His last stage stint in Gotham, co-starring with Hugh Jackman in “A Steady Rain” in 2009, proved a major moneymaker.

    It’ll be a Broadway debut, meanwhile, for Craig’s wife, Weisz. She won raves plus an Olivier in 2010 for her perf in a London production of “A Streetcar Named Desire.”

    Craig and Weisz will star with Rafe Spall (“Life of Pi”) in Pinter’s 1978 play, which tells a story of marital infidelity in reverse chronological order. Title was last seen on Broadway in a 2000 production that starred Liev Schreiber and Juliette Binoche.

    Design team for the new production will include Ian MacNeil (sets), Ann Roth (costumes), Brian MacDevitt (lights) and Scott Lehrer (sound). Show plays a 14-week run that begins previews Oct. 1 ahead of a Nov. 3 opening at the Barrymore Theater.

    Makie Says:

    @kelly: @an:

    Actually it was Daren, Rachel’s Ex who cheated with Natalie Portman but of course facts don’t matter to a troll with different user names looking for a problem.

    Is that right Kelly= An.
