Why does he look exactly like Jack Sparrow? I’m avoiding this movie as it looks like he is acting like Sparrow in this too.

Well this trailer certainly looks much better than the last one. Loved this story growing up–to see or not to see–hate to have a shoddy movie ruin the books and the TV series! Opinions people???

@GH: excactly like jack sparrow !? Woow!! When he played sparrow he didn’t wear a heavy white makeup and he didn’t put a crow onthe top of his head and he wasn’t shirtless an so on

He’s like a chameleon, epic Johnny Depp., he’s Iconic.

The only person that would make me watch this film is Ruth Wilson.

  • no

Johnny has phoned in every performance since the first POTC. He keeps playing the same character, just in different costumes. And he’s become so lazy, that he now just hides behind makeup, and doesn’t bother acting at all.
All of that, combined with his disusting comments and behavior, will guarantee that he won’t be getting one dime from me at the box office

  • Malicam

    Looks great!

  • Me

I can’t wait to see this movie. And I don’t see Jack Sparrow here! Tonto is another character, a new one, his face, his eyes, the way he talks. Everything is new! Johnny is the ONLY actor that can do this!

I remember that Tonto was American Indian, JJ. It was The Lone Ranger who was Native American. Two different indigenous American statuses. We’ll have to wait and see what their revisions amount to.
