fun. fun. fun. All the way!

Maroon 5, Fun, and I hate to say it, Rihanna are the only ones deserving of being nominated out of that bunch.

I really don’t like Rihanna, but she can sing and dance.
Maroon 5 and Fun are good bands.

Meanwhile Taylor, Carly, Justin, and One Direction have awful music.
At least douchebag Justin and some of One Direction can actually sing, shitty music, but can sing nonetheless. Taylor and Carly cannot sing to save their lives. Shitty nominations.

Let me guess. All you people who are bad-mouthing and deriding all these artists must be at least in your late 20s/30s or older. You do realise that a lot of the kind of music these artists create are not for people your age. They’re for the teenage/pre-teen market. Therefore you’re not expected to love that type of music because people your age (and mine) are not part of their target audience. So how about you stop moaning and crying on the internet about it and do something a little more important with your lives?

@Asdf: Umm.. Rihanna cant sing… on a track yes, but live… Id opt for any of the other people you mentioned.

  • Lily

And again Lana Del Rey snub while other “singer” got nominated… That sucks.

  • Forever and Forever B&A

This proves that today’s generation music is on downfall. This young generation is full of desperate youth.

  • Notafan

What’s even the point of watching or caring about these awards when it’s the same boring people nominated year after year? They should keep it between themselves and just make parties gushing about how awesome they each are.

  • Robbed

    Where is Emelie Sante?

  • KissThis

I’m 21 and think all of these nominees are horrible. Not real music, hardly any of them can actually sing. I don’t even bother watching stuff like this anymore.

  • kat

Gee, I wonder who’s gonna win? oh that’s right, Taylor Swift always wins. BOO!!!

  • Warren

Hope beautiful Taylor wins lots, except maybe not the country ones.

  • Ryan

Based on the nominations it seems that the people on the nomination board have only been listening to their local “hottest hits” radio stations all year. There are so many more talented artists out there who deserve the nominations over these artists who don’t even write their own songs or play their own instruments.
The Rap Artist category is the biggest joke, Pitbull, PSY, and Flo Rida are rap artists as much as McDoanlds is healthy. Even Nicki Minaj is iffy. Kendrick Llamar should’ve gotten more recognition for releasing the best rap album over the past 4-5 years.
The nominations make me wonder if the people even listened to the music or just nominated all the artists based on record sales and MP3 downloads.

  • :)

Psy and carly ray are over i can’t
Ciara body party should be up here if baauer is up here

  • http://@alisonlili03 alison

cant believe that some nominees arent supossed to be on the categories that they are in!! this is stupid they should have some of the new stufs!! most part are old…

  • Levon

seriously? no Kelly Clarkson!? same artists every year. i think this is all for teenager fans. disappointed.

  • Hanna

Taylor Swift is going to sweep the awards this year! I was so excited when I went into my office at DISH this morning and got an email from one of my coworkers listing the nominations for the Billboard Music Awards this year. I’m looking forward to recording the live performances and keeping them saved on my DISH Hopper. It can hold up to 1,250 SD or 450 HD hours of recordings, which means that I can keep the awards saved, record full seasons of all my favorite shows, and I won’t have to delete a thing.

  • Shevine is real

Maroon 5 deserves the nominations! I don’t care for the less..Maroon 5 go go!

  • GalPal

We are never ever getting back together is not COUNTRY. What a joke. Go Luke-
