Orlando Bloom Backs East Kent for UK City of Culture 2017

Orlando Bloom puts on his helmet and gets on his motorcycle while leaving the gym on Wednesday afternoon (April 24) in West Hollywood, Calif.

The 36-year-old actor recently lent his support to the city of East Kent in its bid to be chosen as the UK City of Culture 2017.

“East Kent’s bid to become UK City of Culture 2017 is the next stage in its creative journey – and it’s one I’m delighted to support,” Orly said via This is Kent. “Born and raised in Canterbury, it was here that I first discovered my love for acting. One of my earliest memories is of being spellbound by performers I would pass on the High Street – before long I was having a go myself as a four-year-old hopeful on the Marlowe Theatre stage.”

“Like myself, many have found their inspiration here. East Kent has always had a strong reputation for cultural excellence – be it in the field of theatre or literature, the visual arts or dance – and developments over the last few years have only served to cement that relationship,” Orlando added. “Growing up in east Kent awakened my passion – I hope this bid can do the same for generations to come.”

Orlando looks hot. Am looking forward to seeing him in Zulu. Love seeing pics of him on the motorbikes. How many does he own because whenever I see pics of him, it is always a different motorbike. It’s great he is supporting his home town. He is a very talented actor and an inspirational person. Look forward to seeing him in Romeo and Juliet.

Orlando looks hot. He looks great with straight or curly hair. I am excited to see him in Romeo and Juliet. I want to see Zulu as well. It is great that he wants to see East Kent be chosen as UK City of Culture 2017. Hope East Kent wins.

So handsome!
And I think that it’s great that he hasn’t forgotten his roots.

What type of motorbike is that? How many does Orlando own?

Looks like a Ducati.
He’s got a few ‘toys’, doesn’t he?
But why not? He can certainly afford them.
He looks great, btw.
