Emmy Rossum - Met Ball 2013 Red Carpet

Emmy Rossum shows off her stunning eye makeup on the red carpet at the 2013 Met Gala held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art on Monday (May 6) in New York City.

The 26-year-old Shameless star rocked a one-of-a-kind Donna Karan Atelier gown, and was escorted by Peter Speliopoulos, Design Director for Donna Karan.

“I just met Amare Stoudemire on the red carpet at the #metball!!! I couldn’t stop gushing of my #Knicks love!” Emmy tweeted on the red carpet – so cool!

This year’s Costume Institute Gala Benefit – celebrating the opening of the Punk: Chaos to Couture exhibition – is co-chaired by Rooney Mara, Moda Operandi creative director Lauren Santo Domingo, Givenchy designer Riccardo Tisci, and Vogue editor Anna Wintour.

FYI: Emmy completed her look with Giuseppe Zanotti shoes and Irit jewelry.

I love her!!!

# 4

I love the make up but not on her.. It’s too much, she looks better with less.

# 5

Fierce wow

# 7

Is she auditioning for Cleopatra? Fail!

# 8

Seems like people judge the looks from last night on their regular fashion scale. This event is so above and beyond fashion wise. It’s supposed to be out there when the theme is PUNK. The crazier the better.

just beautiful, one of the best looks of the evening!

she looks amazing, she got it!

Emmy looks amazing!

liked the dress would have loved it if it hadn’t been sheer at the bottom.

Her dress is classy beautiful but too much makeup around her eyes. I like her au natural beauty better. She was one of the better dressed ladies at the Met though.
