Forest Whitaker & Oprah Winfrey: 'The Butler' Trailer!

Forest Whitaker and Oprah Winfrey star in the trailer for the star-studded film The Butler, in theaters October 18.

The movie tells the story of a White House butler (Whitaker) who served eight American presidents over three decades. The film traces the dramatic changes that swept American society during this time, from the civil rights movement to Vietnam and beyond, and how those changes affected this man’s life and family.

The Butler also stars Alex Pettyfer, John Cusack, Robin Williams, Terrence Howard, James Marsden, Alan Rickman, Liev Schreiber, Melissa Leo, Minka Kelly, Jane Fonda, Cuba Gooding Jr., Jesse Williams, Vanessa Redgrave, Mariah Carey, David Oyelowo, and Lenny Kravitz. It was directed by Lee Daniels (The Paperboy, Precious), produced by Cassian Elwes, and executive produced by Hilary Shor.

    Looks amazing! I can’t wait to see it. The cast is brilliant and Harvey Weinstein is involved, so I’m sure this movie will play a role when the Oscars come back around.
