It is funny that Ian fans are blaming Nina for wanting to focus on career but have nothing to say about Ian who also preferred ISF over his relationship. Nina likes attention. Fine but what about Ian? The guy is doing conventions crazy and for what exactly. For money and publicity. He is a celebrity and uses it for his own causes. Nina is an aspiring actress and sure she has the right to do anything to further her career. Why blame the woman only? Even more sad when women themselves fault the woman in a relationship than the man. Case of internalised misogyny. You all women need to take a long hard look at yourself.

No one blames nina here. Read carefully
ppl here is talking about the fans who put to much pressure on actors and three pissibilities
either the break up is stunt then their whole relationship is PR either the break up is for real and fans are delusional either break up rumors is the only way to get obsessed fans off their backs

  • seriously?

Noone is blaming Nina. Read carefully what was said. If someone blames one or the other that is just sad. Why? Cause from our same bubble we don’t know anything.
Nina is a beautiful young girl, talented and very driven. Ok she hangs around with her girfriends.. Why shouldn’t she?
Ian is working very much for cons and ISF, he seems such a sweet guy.
Both of them are unique in their own way. If they desiced to break up, so what? What does it change to oure lifes? Ok a sweet couple break up – too bad..But it’s not the end f the world. Fans are acting like someone died – God forbide.
The only thing that is said here is that we should respect their private lifes. The media has made their relationship a circus, they don’t need obsessed fans on their backs.

@mel: Ian never called Nina his girlfriend! Seriously guys get your facts straight!

If you really believe Nina is the right woman/Girl for Ian… I can only laugh at you because lets face it…she is not good enough for him. She is just a little bitchy Girl with no Brain!

  • Sana

I am talking about Ian fangirls here who are blaming Nina for the split calling her rude and pretentious. Fact is both are celebrities and need attention which is the demand of their work. Celebrities have to put themselves in the limelight. Nothing wrong with that but people better not blame the woman only.

  • Sana

@Sasha: Well I guess that’s possible. You do have a point. Both are way too independent, focused on their work to be called as a couple. They may have spend time together for the reasons you have mentioned. I am not calling them fake either but fans really put too much pressure on them. They never confirmed their relationship in a direct way and now the break up statement is also vague.

  • Maria

I agree with you. Why we have to put the blame on Nina? I am an Ian fan too – but i never ever put the blame on Nina. Why we have to put the blame somewhere at all? Relationships start and finish. So simple. It doesn’t have to be a major thing to cause the break up – and honestly if there is indeed a break up i am not suprised at all. Maybe they are to a point on their life where they want different things – and i am not talking about marriage kids etc. We don’t know what it’s in their head, they do. People should leave it there.

  • linette

@Sana: agree. I find it absurd that Ian’s fans blaming Nina want to make a career whereas Ian is also an actor and not a cook! among other things Ian is trying to get the role for “50 shades ..”, for what he does? for fun? I don’t think! some Ian’s fans o are ridiculous and should grow up!

  • Love TVD

I hope they haven’t broken up because I think they are cute together. But if they have, it will not affect my enjoyment of the show. I do think all the “shippers” have gotten a little crazy with send death threats to JP and recently to Phoebe Tonkin because of the Klaus/Caroline thing. But they were in fact a couple. Look for the pictures she posted of them taking one of their cats to the vet. Look for any of the pictures of each of them spending holidays with the other’s families. No matter whether they are or not in a relationship – they are human beings and deserve respect not name calling. You can be Ian’s fan and not call Nina names. If they have broken up, no one but the two of them know the reasons why. A little respect goes a long way.

  • Riot!

If they broke up, so be it. It’s their own lives, not ours. Move on people.

  • julie

Ian and Nina haven’t confirmed the split yet, so I don’t believe they really broke up since they’re meant to be together. Btw if it’s true, I would be the saddest person ever, Nian is my life and they’re asdfghjs together. What about the age difference? age is just a number… NIAN IS ENDGAME.

Ps. Nian will always be the meaning of love.
