Kristen Wiig: 'Saturday Night Live' Opening Monologue & Sketches - Watch Now!

Kristen Wiig sings about how she’s “so excited” to return to her SNL roots during her Saturday Night Live hosting gig on Saturday (May 11) in New York City.

The 39-year-old actress had a little help from her friends Jason Sudeikis, Kenan Thompson, and Maya Rudolph (who was caught making out with Jonah Hill in a janitor’s closet) during her charming opening monologue to the Pointer Sisters’ “I’m So Excited.”

She gave a tour around the SNL set, which didn’t turn out exactly as planned.

The monologue was by far the best part of SNL last night. The rest of the show seemed rehashed and lagging. Too bad. The cast members are as funny as ever, so it must be the writing that’s lackluster.

I thought Kristen Wiig did a fantastic job at hosting SNL! It was great to see many of her past characters return for the night. I sure hope to see her again soon on the show as well as in the movies. I worked late at DISH last night, so I set up my DVR to record SNL. I usually catch up on my TV shows while I’m cleaning the house, and being able to pause in the kitchen then continue in the living room with my DISH Hopper helps me stay productive.
