James Franco Covers 'GQ' Magazine's Comedy Issue June 2013!

James Franco is picture perfect as he takes the cover of GQ magazine’s Comedy Issue June 2013!

Here’s what the 35-year-old actor had to share with the mag:

On being able to laugh at himself: “My public persona is something that is only partially constructed by me, so if people want to mock that, it’s fine. I mock it.”

On the possibility of Pineapple Express 2: “As far as why Pineapple Express 2 has not been made for real, I don’t know what the holdup is. I would do it, Danny McBride would do it, Seth Rogen would do it. I think Seth and Evan [Goldberg] just need a fire lit under their asses.”

On his role in This Is The End: “When I first read the script, the James Franco character was — I guess the only way to describe it is he was a lot douchier than the version that we came up with. I was the materialistic guy. They were really playing up the Gucci-modeling aspect of my life.”

James Franco has never been funny or display any discernible comedic talent. Why would he be on the cover of a comedy issue ?! Franco is so annoying and egomaniacal ( he is even worse than Gwyneth Paltrow ) . Plus, James is very overrated.

@sally: James Franco freaking funny in Knocked Up, Pineapple Express, 30 Rock, Date Night, The Green Hornet, Spring Breakers and This Is The End but to name a few.

Oh, his Funny or Die video’s are awesome too. He’s mega HHHHHOOOOOOOTTTTTTTTTT and talented, see why they picked him as the cover.

Finally all his GQ covers are so iconic looking, it could almost be a different person each time, so method.
