Nico Tortorella Covers 'Bello' May 2013

Nico Tortorella is bright and fashionable on the cover of Bello magazine’s May 2013 fashion issue.

Here’s what the 24-year-old The Following actor had to share with the mag:

On acting in Scream 4: “I hadn’t seen any of the Scream movies until after I auditioned. It was a beat before my generation, ya know? I remember seeing all the Scary Movies though. That was my first huge movie. Scream 4 was a huge job for any actor my age.”

On his upcoming flick Hunter and Game:
“I’m really excited about that. I mean it’s going to be like the most ridiculous character I’ve ever played. He’s just a crazy drug addict. They described him as the white Flava Flav.”

On living in NYC: “I live in like a really orthodox Jewish neighborhood. Bushwick’s like the new Williamsburg!”

What is he talking about? I’m the same age, Scream IS our generation.

  • Ohh La La

I’m 24 too. I agree with his comment on Scream. I vaguely remember seeing parts of the movies, but it was a bit before my time.

  • KissThis

Scream is more relevant to people now in their early 30s. Not 24. I’m 21 and scream was about a decade before me.

  • Ashley

I`m 23 & I can remember when I was 8 or 9 kids were dressing up as ghostface. The Scream franchise was way more relevant in the 90`s and early 2000`s. Not so much any more so i have no idea what that guy is talking about. It was part of our generation. I don`t understand why they brought it back with Scream 4 though. because that movie was horrible and the acting OMG….the acting itself made me want to scream because that`s how bad it was. Now they are making it into a series. I cant really see that going anywhere. As for that Nico guy. I cant take him seriously anymore. Especially ever since I saw those photos of him on JJ wearing fingerless gloves to a indoor event. LOL.

I’m 21 years old and I really remember Scream from 90′s. As matter of fact, Scream (and movies such I Know What You Did Last Summer, Cruel Intentions, Urban Legend, The Faculty and Halloween H:20) is (are) MY FAVORITE MOVIE OF ALL TIME!

I remember very well when Scream 3 came out and I was too young to go to the movie theatre.

I met this excellent franchise through my cousins and sister. By that time (1998/1999/2000) they were like 15 years old and I was like 7/8/9 years, but I remember watching these movies almost every day.

PS: Our comments made me remember “Scream 2″. The “Class scene” with Sarah Michelle Gellar, Timothy Olyphant, Jamie Kennedy and others about the violence in movies in society and about the sequels. But our discussion is about “generation”. The same theme used unsuccessfully in Scream 4.

  • Whee

    @Ohh La La:

I am 24, and I have watched all the Scream movies. I think it hit late in our generation, so not everyone has seen it.
