Hope it turns out well. Fascinating topic I’ve been following for a long time.

Too bad Clooney already jinxed this movie by allowing his fake girlfriend publicity escort to do a staged photo op while he was filming in Germany. It’ll probably be Ishtar meets The Good German. Blanchett is way overrated, never understood the hype around her. I like Damon, and if anyone gets an Oscar nomination out of this, it will be him, but not if the movie as a whole is bad. Only reason Clooney cast Dujardin is because Dujardin beat Clooney out of an Oscar last time around and Clooney wants to make sure that doesn’t happen again. He’ll edit it to try to agrandize his own role, and some nasally voiced hooker escort will say she’s sooo excited about the movie and happy Memorial Day to all the veterans who weren’t as lucky as she was to visit the city in Germany where the Korean War actually took place. Another Clooney train wreck waiting to happen, and this one should be epic.

    You make valid points!
Though he’s avoided the bald, bland ogre Stacy Keibler since March 15. It’s bad enough the last Horse-faced cocaine-addicted hooke Canalis jinxed Ides of March….
Maybe he learnt his lesson & keeping the guttertrash away… For now.

George Clooney looks bossy here. Not sure if it’s his character or he’s a tough director.
    Like the Allies uniforms too.
Always liked the Germans’ uniforms. That Civil War Southern confererate grey tinge with those boots that the Wehrmacht wore.

@Catrina90265: boy, he sure picks the runts of z-list hookers. It’s not just that they’re unappealing bland, but they desperately try to sell sex appeal they ain’t got. Makes the seem even worse.
GC’s love life has become such an embarassing, cliche, repetitive boring theme.
Let’s hope that on-off photo-op with the wrestler giant in Berlin won’t tarnish MM. Best forgotten it ever happened.
Looking forward to the actual film.

Oh great! another Nazi movie…I wonder how many Academy Awards this one’s gonna get.

  • Bailey

@Catrina90265: Oh but you’re forgetting that the most recent fake girlfriend escort jinxed George’s last movie which I can’t even think of the name of. George lost Oscar, Affleck lost Oscar, movie only won Oscar because of Clooney’s ties to Obama which is why they made sure Mrs. Obama awarded the Oscar. The entire campaign and the way the single Oscar was handed out was disgusting. George only got an Oscar by association as he was just an executive producer and not directly involved in making the movie. The famewhore hooker managed to make him look even worse after he got that one Oscar by tweeting pics of her licking the Oscar statue’s butt and continuing to lie about everything under the sun.

  • Bailey

Oh and let’s not forget that the famewhore thought Memorial Day should be a “happy” day for veterans, this from someone who grew up a stone’s throw away from Arlington National Cemetery where Memorial Day services are covered all over national news every year??? And Clooney is making a movie that should be of great interest to veterans.

  • Bailey

@Richturd: Exactly! Clooney hires the best math nerds to churn out an equation for trying to win Oscars, but these math nerds are nearsighted it seems. It’s all just a means to an end for Clooney, no joy or authenticity in the journey. So he’s trying the Nazi movie formula again, as he seems to enjoy repeating his mistakes as if he can control everything including God. The man will never learn.

Sounds like another great movie by him. They love to bring out the Romance with Couple’s Toys for Women and Men from AthenaToysDotcom

@Bailey: I remember how desperate he was to promote Argo, like he was pimping the broad bulldozer wrestler on the red carpet.
Dressed semi-naked like a hooker in a vintage dress that was meant to be maxi but only reached her tree trunk calves, Clooney tried to steal the attention from Ben Affleck & the actual cast.
It put me off. To this day I haven’t seen Argo & yet I’m a US political science graduate.

  • so it seems…

I don’t like George Clooney’s arrogance, nor his “sleazy middle-aged man with bad taste” image. Though the film is an unusual concept of art & war.

  • George Stout

Well, I look forward to the film.
It’s got a brilliant cast, based on historical events, interesting, & aiming to appeal at a cross sector of viewers.

    @so it seems…:

An intriguing and complex choice for a determined and thoughtful director. I shall look forward to this most interesting of personal explorations in concept and perspective, if only for it’s brief glimpse into the depth of the man – an intelligent and articulate presence in an often fleeting and fickle film world.
