Carey Mulligan In Talks to Play Hillary Clinton in 'Rodham'

Carey Mulligan is reportedly in talks to play the coveted role of Hillary Clinton in the upcoming biopic Rodham, according to THR.

The 28-year-old actress is supposedly now the front-runner on a list of actresses that includes Scarlett Johansson, Jessica Chastain, and Emma Stone. She will have a sit down with the director James Ponsoldt and “both sides are eager for it to work”.

Rodham portrays Hillary as “a young lawyer on the committee involved in President Richard Nixon‘s impeachment, and her juggling a diverging career path with her unresolved feelings for future president Bill Clinton.”
