David Beckham: Bringing Professional Soccer to Miami?

David Beckham heads out to dinner with a female companion on Wednesday evening (June 5) in New York City.

Earlier in the day, the 38-year-old retired soccer star had lunch at La Esquina in the Soho area of the Big Apple.

David recently met with Miami-Dade County Mayor Carlos Gimenez and toured Sun Life and Florida International University stadiums while in Miami, Fla.

“We’re ready and we’re excited about the possibility of having top-flight professional soccer back in Miami,” Mayor Gimenez said. “With people from all over the world living in our community, this is an ideal market for MLS and David Beckham is the right person to make it happen.”

ARE YOU EXCITED to see David Beckham possibly bring soccer to Miami???
