Halle Berry: High Maintenance About My Skincare Regime

Halle Berry tries to hide her growing baby bump as she walks back to her car after dropping off her five-year-old daughter Nahla at school on Thursday (June 6) in Studio City, Calif.

The 46-year-old pregnant actress recently opened up about about her skincare regime.

“What is high maintenance about me is my skincare regime, and it’s been like that since I was 14,” Halle expressed. “I’ve always cleansed, toned and moisturized twice a day, every day. I think it’s so important for ensuring an even complexion.”

“My daughter is only five but I’ve already got her applying sunscreen daily,” Halle continued. “You need to start young to make sure your skin is really smooth and even and not patchy or blotchy.”

FYI: Halle is wearing 7 For All Mankind black skinny jeans.

Halle Berry is one someone like Aveeno or any other skin care line should have been courting to advertise for them. Her skin is flawless! She may be a little cuckoo but you can’t deny that she is absolutely beautiful.

She needs to to something with her child’s hair.

# 3

@guest: No she doesn’t. Stop being so jealous of a child.
It’s weird and disturbing.

# 4

It’s not her skin care regime. Black don’t crack. That’s it.

Halle and Nahla are gorgeous.

@Terry: It might not crack but it sure as heck can sag! Our skin is sensitive to discoloration as well. Any black woman reading this knows what I’m talking about. Just a little zit can give you one little blotch and ruin your even skintone.
We are also not immune to skin cancer and MUST protect our skin from the sun. Always.
So all in all, Halle is absolutely right. If you want a nice and even complexion you must take care of it, black people actually more than anyone need to do that because discoloration can throw off a nice even brown skin tone.

@Tibby: Very true! I am a man an anytime I get an ingrown hair from shaving, I don’t have to even touch it; it leaves a scar. And when you have very even skin the one or two scars that you get stand out even more. I have facial hair sometimes. SMH Proper Skincare is a must
