America still loves horror flicks. And they are cheap to make.

  • .

The Purge drew in the crowd, but the reviews are showing the film didn’t meet expectations. I saw it last night, and it’s definitely worth waiting for the dvd or for it to come on HBO, Starz, or Cinemax.

what about the Will Smith’s movie ?

  • constant_tork

omg does this mean no more sequels and reboots??

  • Verity

Critics my not have liked it but the film is a hit, why? It cost $3 million to make and grossed well over the expected $20 million. That warrants a sequel by Hollywood standards. Will Smith and son dropped like a dud to 7th. I hope he gets the message and dials down promoting his kids and gets his ego in check.

Looks like males are still taking their dates to horror movies like when I was in high school a LONG time ago. Hoping to have the females squeal and they can cop a quick feel, or comfort them.

Not much out now that is interesting, too bad, I used to go to the movies at least once a week, but like another poster said, not giving my money to sequels and reboots.
