Good morning my dearest sister Rose I tried mailing several times but gave up, mailed once in Monkier “no” just to say that was unable to post in my own name its very frustrating good bless you all for keeping up the good work on the thread. I had several links but some posters have beat me to it lol but have some more didnt want to jinx my reappearance here with Jared so wont be as heavy handed in posting links loli’m still having trouble even now so will leave th elonks at the moment .I’ll try to sneak some in with out his notice. I saw Ticky out of her Ken again where her fiancé is hmm trouble in paradise already lol.I saw her working her chunk at an award show that is so irrelevant yet again.

@Phool: Phool, I was lmao when I saw Ticky with BC, sad spook lit up like a Christmas tree when she saw him. I’m saying to myself, “squigs not going to be too happy to see that photo”, lol. Phool, you know if it was Angie out at an award without Brad and squeezing on a old fling like that the trolls would be here yelling, “they broke up, they broke up”. But Phool, have you heard one word from the trolls about why squigs not with the sad spook? Oh no. Only Brad and Angie has to be tied at the hips. Go figure!

  • Josephina

Damn…Brad looks sexy as hell in that jacket and grey T-shirt.

    Nice lips, Brad!!!

Nice to see Brad and Pax enjoying Sydney. He must be having a ball getting some quality time with his Dad. Pax seems to be more at ease with the paps that he use to be. I’m sure he doesn’t enjoy having a camera in his face 24/7 when he’s out in public with the family, but he definitely seems to be managing it much better. Getting older does help too, and I’m sure he’s understanding more and more what his parents do and what a significant impact they have on the world. Brad and Angie have been dealing with the media spotlight for decades (independently and as a couple), so I’m sure they’re helping to manage all their kid’s expectations with regard to the paps. On to Seoul!

    Good morning J-P fans.
There are better pictures at Brangelina Forum, the ones with Brad having a meal with Pax are great.

@Jones: They used a decoy Police boat to throw off the paps, so only a few were waiting.
At the Forum there are a series of pictures, as soon as Pax saw the paps up went the hood and a brisk walk to the car.
Pax and Zahara seriously do not like aggressive paps, when Zahara and Shioh were in Amsterdam on the canal, they had fun posing for the paps, who were most likely on land.

Lol Rose the women is shameless she latches on to any other man apart from her own fiancé , no wonder men run try to run the other way no one like a leech. Can you imagine if it was you know who did that, with every man she met, people would be up in arms saying she’s having an affair but when Ticky does it everyone turns a blind eye don’t think it goes unnoticed. One thing that annoys me is why she can’t stand gracefully on her OWN instead of being all over other men its so insulting to their partners and her own fiancé.
I bet it does annoy Squiggy but he turns a blind eye because it’s either that or kiss well buy to the cash cow and stupid he’s not Rose. I see no Troll is worried where he is but they snarl on when they see Brad & Angie not together lol.
I see even Pax has Brads swagger.

Brave Jolie triggers rise in cancer tests
Doctors are bracing themselves for an increase in women asking for preventive surgery for breast cancer, putting pressure on already lengthy waiting lists. Genetic testing clinics in NSW have undergone a marked increase in referrals since film star Angelina Jolie’s announcement she had undergone a mastectomy after discovering she carried the gene fault that puts women at higher risk of breast cancer. It is thought that about one in 800 people have the BRCA1 and BRCA2 gene mutations – but only a small proportion would know they were carriers.
Kathy Tucker, the head of the Hereditary Cancer Clinic Prince of Wales Hospital, said Jolie’s revelation last month had taken the stigma out of testing.Between 10 per cent and 20 per cent of women who discover they carry the BRCA1 or BRCA2 mutation will undergo a preventive mastectomy to reduce their risk of developing breast cancer.Waiting lists for surgery in the public system are already up to 12 months long and Dr Tucker predicts a surge in requests for preventive mastectomies.
Women seeking surgery in the private system wait for a shorter period but face out-of-pocket costs of up to $25,000 for their operations, according to Krystal Barter, who founded support group Pink Hope after undergoing a preventive mastectomy when she was 25.
”The private system is quite expensive and the public system is free but there is generally a 12-month wait and in that time cancer could develop,” she said.It is thought between 1 per cent to 2 per cent of women in line for preventive surgery will develop breast cancer while waiting.
Ms Barter has sent a letter of thanks to Jolie for raising awareness about inherited gene mutations, which are responsible for about 5 per cent of the 14,000 breast cancers diagnosed in Australia each year. She hopes to meet Jolie’s fiance, Brad Pitt, while he is in Sydney on Sunday for the Australian premiere of his film, World War Z.
She will also send a letter to state and federal health ministers this week expressing her concerns about the lack of consistency in the approach to genetic testing and preventive surgery.”Women are still being told this is cosmetic surgery or elective surgery, depending on which surgeon they see,” she said.”But we need to get away from classifying this surgery as cosmetic. We are not going in to have a boob job. We are going in to save our lives.”Ms Barter pointed out the lifetime cost of treating a younger woman for breast cancer is $710,000 and ovarian cancer more than $1 million.

    Angelina Jolie made right choice
I was truly horrified to read the “Dear Pharmacist” column, “Why I disagree with Angelina Jolie’s mastectomy decision.”Suzy Cohen may be a pharmacist, but she is not a medical or surgical oncologist, nor is she a certified genetics counselor. Therefore, her advice that Angelina could have learned more about her breast cancer risk by “peeing in a cup,” or that if she just took the proper supplements, she could avoid getting cancer is not only wrong, it is dangerous and irresponsible.
While not everyone who discovers she has a BRCA gene mutation opts for preventative surgery, many do and the reason is because it is the best available option we have at the moment, and one which all medical professionals agree provides significant reduction in cancer risk. It is extreme, yes — but no more extreme than watching and waiting, having mammograms and MRIs every six months or more, endless biopsies and constantly worrying about when cancer will strike — or worse, not catching it in time and then ultimately needing the surgeries anyway — plus chemotherapy, radiation and more — or dying from the disease.
Most women who opt for the prophylactic surgery have lost mothers, aunts, cousins, sisters, and even fathers or brothers, to cancer — and Suzy has no business telling them they should not do everything they possibly can to reduce their personal risk of cancer. Had I known about my BRCA status before getting cancer, I would have loved to have had the opportunity to have made that choice.

Cosmetic Surgeon Dr. Jennifer Hein Applauds Angelina Jolie’s Mastectomy Decision
Dr. Jennifer Hein of Women’s Institute of Cosmetic & Laser Surgery asserts that Angelina Jolie employed the best decision making process possible when deciding to undergo major surgery.
    CHICAGO, June 10, 2013 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -
    - Dr. Jennifer Hein, founder of Women’s Institute of Cosmetic & Laser Surgery, is constantly encouraging her patients to make certain that they are opting to undergo cosmetic procedures for the right reasons. Instead of having surgeries performed to keep up with cosmetic trends or to make spouses or others happy, Dr. Hein believes that women should undergo these procedures only if they are in their best interest emotionally and physically. The surprising announcement made by noted actress and activist Angelina Jolie revealing her decision to have a double mastectomy and breast reconstruction provides women with a wonderful example of how to go about making decisions regarding cosmetic surgery and, ultimately, overall health, according to Dr. Hein.
ABC has announced that Jolie opted to undergo a double mastectomy and reconstruction after learning that she carried a gene, BRCA1, that increased her chances of developing breast or ovarian cancer. After losing her mother in 2007 to ovarian cancer, the article explains that Jolie opted to have these procedures done in an effort to reduce the risk that she, too, would develop a form of cancer and leave her family behind. After weighing the options with her partner, Brad Pitt, and their six children, Jolie decided that it was in her best interest from a medical standpoint to undergo preventative surgery in order to vastly reduce the odds that cancer would emerge.Jolie wrote in an op-ed piece in the New York Times: “My doctors estimated that I had an 87 percent risk of breast cancer and a 50 percent risk of ovarian cancer, although the risk is different in each woman. Once I knew that this was my reality, I decided to be proactive and to minimize the risk as much as I could.”The surgery cut Jolie’s risk of breast cancer significantly. She writes: “The decision to have a mastectomy was not easy. But it is one I am very happy that I made. My chances of developing breast cancer have dropped from 87 percent to under 5 percent. I can tell my children that they don’t need to fear they will lose me to breast cancer.”
While Dr. Jennifer Hein acknowledges that cosmetic procedures are different from preventative surgeries like the one that Jolie chose to undergo, she stresses the importance that all women—no matter what kind of operation they are considering—take the time to make a responsible decision in the way that Jolie has.To learn more about Dr. Jennifer Hein and her work at Women’s Institute of Cosmetic & Laser Surgery visit

What in hobo hell is Brad wearing? Is he deliberately trying to kill his hotness or what? Cuz…he’s doing a damned good job of it for me. First of all, those pants have a drawstring. They’re NOT pajamas. Nobody needs to drawstring pants outside of their home or a tropical island. Secondly, the pants are about 6 sizes too big. They are officially “dad’s pants”. Totally shaking my head here. Thank goodness Angie isn’t a shallow person – unlike me – and probably doesn’t give a rat’s ass what he’s wearing, but…I’m over Brad being over being a hot mofo. He doesn’t have to wear something attractive…just wear something that fits correctly. Baby steps, Brad…baby steps.

After the surgery, I could finally focus on the future’

Fear of cancer is a horrible thing. It stays with you all day long, and it wakes you up at night. I didn’t want to live with that, especially when I knew I could do something about it. Like Angelina Jolie, I have a genetic mutation that increased my odds of getting breast cancer to nearly 90%. Also like Jolie, I chose to get my healthy breasts removed to reduce that risk to less than 5%.Today, nearly five years after my preventive double mastectomy, my scars have faded and I don’t often think about what I went through. Most people aren’t aware I had the surgery — I look the same, even in a swimsuit.
And my fear has all but disappeared. Jolie and I took this drastic step for the same reasons: Both of us lost a parent to cancer brought on by this horrible mutation, and neither of us wanted our children to suffer the same loss.“I can tell my children that they don’t need to fear they will lose me to breast cancer,” she wrote in a newspaper op-ed piece.Everyone has the BRCA1 and BRCA2 genes, but only some of us have mutations that make us more likely to develop certain kinds of cancer, including breast and ovarian. About 750,000 people in the US carry the mutations. Genetic testing for the mutation, which can be passed down by either mothers or fathers, began in the late 1990s.I found out I was BRCA1 positive when I was 28. I got it from my father, who died in 2005 from pancreatic cancer when he was just 59. His death came just a few weeks after my older daughter, Sadie, was born. My youngest daughter, Twyla, was born the next year.
In 2007, I wrote a story about my journey being BRCA positive. I described how desperately I wanted to get married and have children but didn’t know if cancer would strike before I got the chance. I shared how my father held my newborn daughter and told me his dying wish: that I get my ovaries removed so I wouldn’t get ovarian cancer. And I wrote about my race to get pregnant with Twyla before my self-imposed deadline to get surgery.I told the intimate story about my health, my marriage and my emotional journey to becoming a mother — and I am writing this story today — because I think it’s important. If I can inspire one woman to get tested, or to be proactive about her health, then telling my story is worth it.Even though I wrestled with the decision to have my breasts and ovaries removed, for me, the risks were just plain scary: about 87% for getting breast cancer and up to 50% for ovarian cancer. I wanted to be able to tell my children, too, that I wouldn’t die young like Grandpa Ira had.And I wanted to be able to celebrate Mother’s Day without worrying about my health or about future Mother’s Days. The decision to get prophylactic surgery is a difficult one, and it is a very personal one. It is often influenced by a women’s age, family history and individual experiences, said Dr Beth Karlan, director of the Women’s Cancer Program at the Samuel Oschin Cancer Institute at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
Karlan, who treated Jolie’s mother and is also my doctor, said that some of her patients are already being affected by Jolie’s revelation.
“Life is not perfect just because you have beauty and money and talent and Brad Pitt,” she said. “We are all human and we all have foibles. But acting on those things we can act upon allows us to live our life to its fullest.”Jolie wrote in the ‘New York Times’ that she started with getting her breasts removed, implying that she may have her ovaries removed next. I did it the other way around. I had my ovaries removed in 2006, then had a double mastectomy and breast reconstruction a few years later. I was far more worried about ovarian cancer because it was more common in my family, and the survival rates were so much lower.Although the oophorectomy was a relatively easy surgery, the mastectomy was difficult and emotional, and my recovery took longer than I had expected. Even after my wounds healed, I had to adjust to a new body, and in some ways, a new identity. I was fortunate and thankful to have my husband, Coll Metcalfe, and my family supporting me the entire time. I still am.
Jolie is an international icon of beauty — and her disclosure doesn’t change that. She was stunning before her surgery, and she still is. Even after the mastectomy, she wrote, she doesn’t feel any less of a woman. Neither do I.Most women feel a sense of relief after they make the decision and go through with the surgeries, said Joi Morris, who is on the national board of the nonprofit group FORCE: Facing Our Risk of Cancer Empowered, which provides education, support and advocacy for women with BRCA mutations in the US.
“Once they make that decision, they just feel relieved and happy and that a burden has been lifted,” said Morris, author of ‘Positive Results: Making the Best Decisions When You are at High Risk for Breast or Ovarian Cancer.’I won’t say I felt happy — I wish I never had to deal with any of this. But I did feel like I could take a deep breath, and I could finally focus on the future.
Morris said she believes that Jolie’s decision will open the minds of a lot of women struggling with whether to get tested and to consider having their breasts or ovaries removed. “It has the potential to save a lot of lives,” she said. One of FORCE’s members, Lindsay Perlman, lost her mother to ovarian cancer when she was 12. She learned last year, at the age of 30, that she had the BRCA mutation.
She said she wants to have both surgeries but doesn’t know when. Having Jolie bring public awareness and understanding, Perlman said, “really helps me feel comfortable about taking the next step.”But Perlman, a casting agent in Los Angeles, said it’s still scary. “You’re cutting out healthy breasts,” she said. “It’s not anything I thought I would ever be facing.”
I have done what I can do to reduce my risk of breast and ovarian cancer, though I still am at risk for pancreatic cancer. If I could get my pancreas removed too, I would. But instead, I undergo an invasive procedure each year to make sure there are no signs of cancer. Doctors have to knock me out to do it.The BRCA1 and BRCA2 genes have been in the news over the last several years. TV medical dramas have taken up the issue, and books have been written. Earlier this year, the US Supreme Court heard arguments about whether the BRCA genes can be patented — a case that could make genetic testing more affordable and accessible to women at risk.
When someone like Jolie writes about her personal experience with this deadly genetic mutation, it raises awareness about the experiences of so many women like me. It helps people better understand why we make these drastic decisions. It also encourages women with a family history of these cancers to talk to their doctors about genetic testing and possible preventive surgery.
But it also reminds me how little we know about BRCA and that researchers and doctors still have a long way to go — so that our daughters, and granddaughters, don’t have to make the same choices to save their lives.
Sadie and Twyla are too young to know the full extent of our family history, or what they might face. They each have a 50% chance that they inherited the deadly mutation from me, but they won’t get tested until they are at least 18. I try not to think about what those results may be.Occasionally, my daughters ask me about my scars. I simply tell them that I had surgery so I can be their mommy for a very, very long time. — Los Angeles Times/MCT

The Many Changes in Brad Pitt After Finding Happiness in Angelina Jolie -Brad Pitt Shares He’s a Changed Man with Angelina Jolie
Brad Pitt makes his first trip to Australia for World War Z movie premiere today with his family. The man of the hour could not look happier with his family and the love of his life, Angelina Jolie. As long as it’s for Angie, he doesn’t mind stopping over in the City of Love in Paris, France for a romantic dinner to celebrate Angie’s 38th birthday before continuing to the legs of ‘World War Z’ world tour premieres with Brangelina’s big happy family.
How has the Brangelina Love weather the criticisms and negative forecasts since they met on the set of Mr. And Mrs. Smith. Their World War Z trip has taken us to the memory lane of one of Hollywood’s powerful love of all time. They were the love everyone thought would not last a month, much less a year. Brangelina as Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are popularly known for, still have the love no one thought would ever conquer the way they have . . in the last eight years. Brad Pitt was the Robert Pattinson of his time- – loved by women and women find themselves screaming, even in silence, as they see his beautiful face and sexy, golden hair that no Hollywood hunk has ever been able to pull off as hot as he did (and still does in many unguarded photos) in Legends of the Fall and in Kalifornia, or while taking a stroll with his brood of six and partner, Angelina, in the streets of New Orleans and other parts of the world they find themselves needed.
In the June, U.S. issue of Esquire magazine, Brad graces the cover of the magazine and he made some revelations that would make more women to go crazy about him; his children to look more up to him and Angelina to embrace him a bit tighter than ever.
Angelina and her six children, three of whom with Brad, has changed him and he revealed he has never seen life as happy as he has ever been. “For a long time I thought I did too much damage – drug damage. I was a bit of a drifter. A guy who felt he grew up in something of a vacuum and wanted to see things, wanted to be inspired. I followed that other thing. I spent years f***ing off,” Brad said in an interview with Esquire, according to the Daily Mail.’But then I got burnt out and felt that I was wasting my opportunity. It was a conscious change,” Brad said, adding, ‘This was about a decade ago. It was an epiphany.’
The change began on the set of Mr and Mrs. Smith, the movie that paved way for more opportunities. Even having real big family. This was asserted by Brad’s own make up artist since 1990, Jean Black.Black told the magazine: ‘I think Brad was ready to soar when he met Angie. In Angie he saw a very adventurous person who was grabbing onto life and taking it to it’s nth degree. It was intriguing as I felt Brad had that in him and wanted to unleash it.’And life did Brad has had since then, and he has full of it. With Angie and the six other members of his family : Maddox, 11, Pax, nine, Zahara, eight, Shiloh, six, and four-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne.
Brad said in the interview with the magazine: “…I have my family and I haven’t known life to be any happier. ‘I’m making things. I just haven’t known life to be any happier.’
Indeed he is and he is loving every minute he has with all of them.Brad: “I love it. I love it. I love it. I hate it when they’re gone. I hate it. Maybe it’s nice to be in a hotel room for a day – ‘Oh, nice, I can finally read a paper.’ But then, by the next day, I miss that cacophony, all that life.’While he has surprised even himself to be a loving father, the circle of close friends who have known him for life have also been surprised with how Brad have become a man to Angelina. The man who could have every woman he points his finger to (as in Tiger Woods) or has set his eyes on, has chosen not to have sex even for sequences in films, a close friend of Brad, Frank Pollaro told the magazineFrank Pollaro said during the interview with Esquire: ‘This is a guy who has tried not to do any sexy scenes with other women since he’s met Angelina. He’s crazy about her, and she’s the same way about him.

‘Why wouldn’t you love the Angelina in Brad, a love that one would hope to have ever had.

@Passing Through: Lol, PT, I knew you would ask that question, what is Brad wearing? IMO, he saw those shoes in a vintage store and said, “brad you must buy those shoes.”. Lolol. Anyway, those must be about 50 years old. PT, you when you see something and figure I must have those, lol. That’s your answer. The pants I can understand, I believe he like those loose fitting clothes. Remember that one piece jump suite you loved so much. :-). That’s Brad and Angie is like “Brad, do you really want to wear that, and he goes yes, honey, then Angie says, Brad you look great”, wink, wink

Lol Oh PT You should thank your lucky starts he’s not wearing his Black onsey “overall” he had last year, I wouldn’t put it past him though there’s still couple of Premieres left to go. I agree shame though Angie isn’t as shallow as his Exe’s but he she loves him regardless what can we say apart from shake our heads at times lol.
I think Brads in his comfort zone i.e. getting a bit too comfortable in that zone.

He could wear a potato sack and still be sexy……I love that they don’t ‘try’ like the Beckhams etc……..but I hear ya. Did you see that photo of Angie in the field I just posted… that the saddest sight you have ever seen…….the boy is tied to a tree. Horrific.

I thought, “Let me see the RottenTomatoes score! Wow, 80% but only 20 reviews. Let’s read how ecstatic they are.”

“Choosing quantity over quality…” If it can’t be good at least there are many. I think this is tagline for the Scary Movie series as well.

“Brad Pitt delivers a capable performance…” Aw. Capable just a little above adequate.

“Love it or hate it, this ‘World War Z’ is its own thing.” World War Z exists. That is the best thing I can say.

“Horror fans should expect a mindless popcorn muncher jam-packed with incredible set pieces.” This is the Transformers of horror movies.

“Will you care? If you just like looking at stuff that’s cool, sure. If you were hoping Brad Pitt would stretch his acting muscles, or that Max Brooks’ novel would be faithfully adapted…possibly less so.” See Transformers.

“While some of World War Z is rotten…” Did no one teach him you have to do good trait, bad trait, good trait? Jeesh.

“World War Z is just not quite creative or original enough.” And this was given a fresh rating? Wonder how much it cost.

That photo’s 6 years old. It was taken during Angie’s trip to Chad after her mother’s death in 2007. She was visiting a camp for Darfur refugees. IIRC it was featured in a Newsweek article about her trip.
