Drew Barrymore Covers 'C' Magazine's Summer 2013 Issue!

Drew Barrymore looks radiant on the cover of C California Style Magazine‘s Summer 2013 issue, on newsstands now.

Here is what the 38-year-old actress had to share with the mag:

On the dining room in her home: “I told [my husband Will Kopelman], ‘Dining rooms are stupid. They shouldn’t exist. When was the last time we had a dinner party?’ I wish we were those people who threw seasonal cocktail parties for our friends—‘he owns a coffee place in Brooklyn and she works as a stylist.’ But we will never be that couple… Family dinners would never have occurred to me, and that’s what I want most. Now it’s my life mission to figure out this room.”

On marrying into a great family: “I won the in-laws jackpot. It might be the best karma for having one of the wackiest upbringings. I never had dinner with my mom or dad, let alone together. It’s amazing to think that in life you can completely have a do-over.”

On her Flower cosmetics company: “I was always experimenting and curious about makeup. I would go to concerts and paint my face crazy and happy and fun, and I’d pretend to be someone more conservative and glamorous on the red carpet.”

FYI: Drew is wearing an Oscar de la Renta top on the cover.

Beautiful inside and out. Drew is the perfect example of a woman who turned her life around …..take note Lindsay…just because you may have had monsters for parents doesn’t give you a lifelong excuse to mess up.

She’s just amazed at the differences between her childhood and her life now. I agree with her about the dining room. Big family dinners mean seven to eight hours on my feet preparing the meal. When the people arrive, you have to serve them, get them drinks, etc. It’s nice but a lot of work. After they leave I crawl up to my bed and collapse, completely exhausted.
