Armie Hammer Covers 'Town & Country' with Wife Elizabeth Chambers!

Armie Hammer wraps his arm around his wife Elizabeth Chambers in Town & Country‘s August 2013 issue, on newsstands July 9.

Here’s what the 26-year-old Lone Ranger actor had to share with the mag:

On the differences between him and the Winklevoss twins, who he portrayed in The Social Network: “The Winklevoss brothers’ great achievement, a big source of pride, comes from the fact that they went to Harvard. And I’m a guy who dropped out of high school. My parents thought I was an idiot. They thought it was ridiculous to drop out in 11th grade to be an actor. So, no offense to the Winklevoss brothers, but really we couldn’t be more different.”

On not talking about his craft: “I don’t like to talk about the craft of acting. It’s like asking a guy who screws lug nuts for a living to talk about his technique.”

Elizabeth, on Armie convincing her to get married: “When we finally got together, Armie really wanted to get married. He sat me down and said, ‘Look, we don’t have to do this. We could just go our own ways, and then one day you’ll be 40 and divorced and we’ll run into each other, and we’ll laugh and go out to dinner and have this same connection, and we’ll wonder why we wasted all of that time. Or we could just do it now and enjoy the ride.’”

The way Armie can’t do an interview or photoshoot without bringing his wife along or bringing her up is really cringe-worthy. He should talk more about the craft of acting and less about his personal life.

Gorgeous couple! Clearly, he is crazy about her. Lucky her. I hope to find a man who is crazy about me one day.

Why does she look soooo old? Seriously, he married his mother!

This would have been a sweet/cute article/publicly for Lone Ranger IF he hadn’t already explicitly discussed his sex life in playboy.

# 5

Unstable childhood (his father moved them to the Bahamas or something just like that) = early marriage. I think it’s really cute how crazy they are about each other…but seriously, she DOES NOT need to be next to him in every promo/photo/interview. He needs a better publicist!
Re the playboy interview: his publicist probably got him to do that! You’ll see most celebs “accidentally” putting their foot in their mouths when a big movie or album is coming out. Even the most “respectable” ones.

Armie made a big deal about saying that he really did not want to play a gay character in his 1st big movie, “J. Edgar Hoover”. Then he went out of his way to cover up his statement.
He might be a closet-case who wants to be photographed with his wife all the time. There’s quite of few of them in Hollywood.

Totally gay. Everything gives him away.

I think it’s nice that he brings his wife along for interviews. Apparently he enjoys being w/ her. So what’s the problem? I think you would be crazy NOT to want a marriage like that.

@xyz: and your hostility is ugly…but I am sure all that ugliness is probably wearing you down. Let go honey. Enjoy life. Try to be nice for once…just for your inner health.

@xyz: Me? Stupid? If anything, you are stupid for getting on a page just to pick on other people. I hold a 3 doctorate degrees including my MD degree. I am sure I got all of that just because i am “stupid”
