Kristen Stewart on James Gandolfini's Death: It 'Gutted Me'

Kristen Stewart has released a statement about the death of her Welcome to the Rileys co-star James Gandolfini, who passed away last week in Italy.

“When I heard of James’ passing I was in New Orleans, where we met shooting, and every memory flooded back and gutted me,” Kristen told Entertainment Weekly in a statement. “I’ll hold that time near to me forever. He was immeasurably great. My heart goes out to his beloved family.”

James‘ body was flown back to New York City this past weekend for his funeral, set for this Thursday.

I’m not British. I’m a New Yorker and I say gutted. I knew Jim, albeit briefly, and the first thing that came out of my mouth when someone asked me how I was in regards to his passing was that I was completely gutted. I hope that, god forbid, when someone who means something to you passes away, people like you don’t mock your emotions. I hope that you are shown the respect you clearly don’t have for others.

It’s okay Estee – don’t let life’s rejects like commenter “UGH” tamper with your feelings.

People like @UGH are the garbage of life. You see them and hear them every day and don’t really care. And, they are VERY upset when we don’t care. So what better, safer place for them to go to and have their tantrums than a safe and anonymous message board? What a lovely vacation it must be to not be themselves for a comment’s worth. Oh what a delight ;)

UGH. What a filthy mouth you have and if you’re sitting there laughing because you got a rise out of us you are so wrong. People like you only hurt yourself by acting like a baby that cries for his mommy and mommy won’t change that dirty diaper you have for a mouth. Ignorant you are and ignorant you will always be.
