Along with adding more tour dates, the guys have rescheduled other missed dates due to bassist Ted‘s sudden brain blood clot that forced them to cancel shows.

Ted is making a “steady recovery” from his surgery, and is “wearing his newly acquired shaven-headed hairstyle with enviable levels of suave,” the band wrote on their official site.

Shouldn’t it be “adds,” as in, ‘Mumford & Sons adds new tour dates’ because you’re talking about a single group. A pronoun for “Mumford & Sons” might be “The band,” so the headline would read, “The band adds new tour dates.” That’s the trick about pronouns – they have to demonstrate the same number as the nouns they replace. Just a thought.
