Avril Lavigne Marries Chad Kroeger? - Not Yet!

UPDATE: The couple has reportedly not tied the knot… yet. While the wedding might be happening this weekend, sources tell People it hasn’t happened yet.

UPDATE 2: Avril and Chad are set to be married Monday, July 1, according to Us Weekly.

Avril Lavigne and Chad Kroeger have just tied the knot on Saturday (June 29) in the South of France, according to E!.

The 28-year-old Canadian singer and the 38-year-old rocker went through the special nuptials after becoming engaged last August.

“We want it to be unique and special and we want it to be a very big event but at the same time it’s small and it’s just close friends and close family,” Avril recently shared about the wedding at the Billboard Music Awards.

She added, “Of course [Chad] has been really involved. He’s also been really cool with just letting me kinda taking the wedding in the direction I want to take it in.”
