    Johnny Depp flops

SHINE at 4:51, no.1; The Lone Ranger is supposed to do around $45!000,000 on it’s extended opening weekend. Not all that bad for a surrealistic indie film western. What were you expecting? Besides, everybody out there knows that the movie is about me and my sidekick Barack Obama. Remember, there are still a lot of people who do not like him.

SHINE is correct. A $45M gross over a 5-day period (not the standard 3-day run), on an opening weekend for a film that cost $220M is considered a flop by any Hollywood studio. Over the standard 3-day period, it would’ve been okay. But for a 5-day extended run….flop.

TC at 7:33, no.3; 45 million is like ten times more than any artistic art film out there could ever hope for in a thousand years.

Well for those of us oldies who grew up with the original Lone Ranger on TV, then no I won’t be seeing it as much as I like the actors.

The Lone Ranger should have been aimed towards a family audience without the heavy violence and gore. It then would have had a broader appeal.
