Joey Chestnut Breaks Hot Dog Record at Nathan's Competition

Joey Chestnut is once again the hot dog eating champ after breaking his own record by eating 69 franks in ten minutes during the Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Competition on Thursday (July 4) at Coney Island in New York City.

The 29-year-old competitive eater took home the $10,000 grand prize and a mustard-yellow championship belt for coming in first place. The person who came in second place only ate 51 hot dogs!

Joey‘s previous record was 68 hot dogs and last year he ate 62 hot dogs to win the prize.

HOW MANY HOT DOGS can you eat in ten minutes?

These competitions are completely unhealthy and gross. I hope them to be banned. They dont set a good example to innocent minds. This is not the best way to get money in a healthy way. This doesnt prove intelligence but a disgustingly stupid pride. If you arent creative or intelligent enough work hard but dont do these things.
