Andy Murray Makes History with Wimbledon Win

Andy Murray made history today when he defeated Novak Djokovic and won the Wimbledon Men’s Finals on Sunday (July 7) in London, England.

The 26-year-old tennis player, who won gold at the 2012 Olympics, took home his second championship with a 6-4 7-5 6-4 score against Novak.

Andy‘s win finally put an end to England’s 77 years without a men’s championship title at Wimbledon.

“Can’t believe what’s just happened!!!!!!!” the athlete later wrote on Twitter.

Following his win, Andy climbed up into the stands to kiss his longtime girlfriend Kim Sears. Kim watched the entire three hour match along with Bradley Cooper, Victoria Beckham, and Gerard Butler!
