Rinko Kikuchi shows off her fabulous ferocity in this brand new fashion feature for V magazine, on newsstands July 18.

Here’s what the 32-year-old Pacific Rim star had to share:

On her Pacific Rim robot suit: “I’d love to wear it again, but not to dinner, because I can’t sit in it!”

On Chanel and her personal style: “There is nothing like Chanel to make you feel confident on the red carpet. Sometimes I’ll wear something really punk rock and other times something very elegant. I don’t like to be defined by one style.”

On sci-fi fashion: “I love combining sci-fi and fashion. And who wouldn’t love wearing a superhero armor suit?”
