Ellen Pompeo: Read About Malala Yousafzai & Be Inspired!

Ellen Pompeo pushes her adorable baby girl Stella, 3, in her stroller as they hit the town together on Friday (July 12) in New York City.

The 43-year-old actress let her little girl hold her purse as they headed out in the Big Apple!

“To all my girls….read about Malala and be inspired. Tap into your strength and your power.” Ellen tweeted about Malala Yousafzai, the 16-year-old activist who was shot by the Taliban for promoting female education last year.

Today is Malala day, and you can help support Malala by signing a petition for her fight to equalize female education.

@GOOP:

I knew I was going to come in here and some arsehole was going to say some racist crap.

I hate racist people of all colors and backgrounds.

You pay for what you put out.

Yep, I knew someone would say something about the child’s hair. All the nutty haircuts in Hollywood and some nut is calling a child’s natural hair child abuse. She’s a cute kid.

She needs to learn how to groom her child’s hair. If she can’t do it, then she should get some help from someone, to do the child’s hair.

@Helen: #2

It is not a racist comment #1 made. I am a Black American, and I too think she should comb and properly groom the child’s hair. I have three daughters myself. And I never let them go out of the house with their hair all wild like that.

If you knew someone would say something about the child’s hair, then you know it needs to be groomed. Properly grooming your child’s hair has nothing to do with grown Hollywood types.

She only has a curly afro that is growing too long and needs cutting.
