Cory Monteith‘s death at the young age of 31 has the entire world in shock, especially many of the celebrities that considered him a peer in this industry and knew him as a friend.

The Glee actor was found dead of an apparent drug overdose in his hotel room in Vancouver on Saturday (July 13) and the news has been confirmed by the police department and Cory‘s publicity team.

“We are so saddened to confirm that the reports on the death of Cory Monteith are accurate. We are in shock and mourning this tragic loss,” his rep said in a statement to JustJared.com that evening.
