The Glee actor appeared in bit roles in many films and television shows before his breakout role on the musical series. Since his casting, Cory appeared in the big screen flick Monte Carlo an won several awards, including a Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series.

Cory also had the opportunity of touring the world with his Glee castmates on their two summer concert tours to promote the hit series.

While he kept most of his personal life private, he publicly was dating his Glee co-star Lea Michele for over a year before his death.
