I can’t believe that he’s gone forever! What was his relationship with his father? Why he couldn’t see his son? This is sad, among others… :(

  • lola

this still seems so unreal. I know it’s real and it happened, but never would have seen it coming. The cremation part really finalizes it obviously. Such a shock. I look at my movies with him on the cover and can’t believe it’s true, he was just so young & talented with so much more to do in his life. People die by accident every day that don’t deserve it, but this amazing guy made a stupid choice that he knew could kill him and I can’t fathom why he would do it, or anyone else that does. Does it really make you feel that good or something? Sluch a shame and a waste of a wonderful person.

    *such

  • rain

Yeah, and to think that all this could have been avoided…

  • Nat

well done, because that awful man doesn’t deserve to be call father… all Cory’s problem started when that man abandoned them when he was 7 years old

  • LOL

    @Nat:
Why what happened? And why is his mother absolved from any responsibility?

  • kat

Such a sad end to a young mans life who had such heart and potential. Hopefully this will aid people to stop getting curious with drugs and experimenting with it. It leads to nothing.

  • Nat

Praying for Lea and Cory’s family … we will love him forever

  • Nat

@LOL: her mother was the one who raised them… worked to feed them both (Shaun and Cory) because that man abandoned them… Cory’s mother was the one who fought for him… when he went to rehab at 19 was because of his mother’s intervention.

  • Gemi

That Cory’s dad would go to TMZ probably is a good example of why he wasn’t there.

  • Eva

I know it’s hard to comprehend why people do this, but being an addict is a serious disease, some of them can control it, some can’t. Going to rehab doesn’t mean the addict is cured, there should be a program support after rehab too but unfortunately there isn’t and most of them fall in that dangerous trap again.

Personally, I think such cases shouldn’t end just because the addict passed away from an overdose. There should be an investigation made to discover who the enabler was and so on.

I agree with Eva, the people who give drugs to people, especially addicts, should be held more accountable than they are for the harm they help to cause and maintain.

  • Pinrose

Noone has to go to TMZ. TMZ finds you! And they are really good at digging.

  • Mary

When you are an addict you are never “cured” and that is why so many get caught up in it over and over. Unfortunately many die because of the addiction and that includes legal drugs like alcohol.

  • Lea Michele Pfeiffer

what a waste of a hot Canadian bod. bye bye cutie

  • stardust

When John Belushi died of a combined injection of cocaine and heroin Catherine Evelyn Smith served 15 months in prison for providing him that fatal shot. Whoever gave Cory his fatal drugs should be held accountable also.

  • kate

cremated alredy?wow that was fast..now i have a bitter feeling that he isnt exist anymore..its truly heartbreaking.. :(

  • http://Twitter Ben Mirchandani

So Sad. Just curious about him being cremated? Does any body know?

  • Duh

@Nat: his father was in the military and was working to provide for him and his brother. They didn’t have the best relationship while he was growing up and they fixed it in 2009. Before you run your mouth get your facts straight.

  • wes

Why they do that before a funeral?

  • fat ass

    Really? HOW??????????????????
