why was this even a question? when a future franchises first film bombs and is critically panned that hard of course it’s not gonna have a sequel. reynolds isn’t leading man material in my opinion, seems nice enough though.

    monde Says:

Coz its HUGE flop! RR is no bankable nor great actor and his leading lady now wifey is just talentless casting couch so NO Green Lanterrn sequel as simple as that!

    blaise Says:

And thats the last ditch of how Blakey Fakey finally ends her dream to become a movie actress nor even just an actress – just stay on to be just an escort-wife.

    L Says:

RIPD looks SOOOO bad. How’d it get made?!!! Prove the money men are a bunch of dudes out of touch with reality.

I think he was okay in Buried and Safe House. Deadpool is a really silly character. Green Lantern – won’t even go there.

    jar Says:

Ryan Reynolds IMPLIED the sequel was not happening. To imply is to put suggestion that isn’t explicitly stated into a message to infer is to take suggestion out of a message. If I implied you should invest in a dictionary, you might infer it was a good idea. Although that’s not implication, it’s just plain old advice.

    @jar: Thank you!

    wuppie Says:

Ryan is NO Chris Hemsworth (Thor) nor Chris Evans (Capt. America while his wife Blakey is not even in the league of the acting skills of her GG co-star Leighton Meester.

Hollywood needs to stop trying to make this guy a movie star.

    Wizzer Says:

Jeff Bridges is still THE DUDE, but I dunno how some of these HW peep read scripts and say yes to some of the crap they say yes to.

Um. Jared? Don’t you know grammar? The correct word is “IMPLIED”, not “inferred.” Inferred means deduced. PLEASE FIX.

    Paulie Says:

I think it’ll be back to TV again for Ryan Reynolds in the near future. He’s had way too many flops lately.

    Marina Sharp Says:

Good news I for one am getting sick of comic book movies.

  20. 20
    KJ Says:

Of course it’s not, the first flopped! Why do they keep trying to make him happen? Better actors deserve the chances they give him over and over.

  21. 21
    the answer Says:

NO he is Ryan Reynolds and can you can post whatever makes you feel good discuss his looks, his acting skills, his wife, his roles, his status in hollywood compare him to whomever YOU think is a better actor yada..yada..yada but at the end of the day He is a decent actor and the roles he takes (guess what) he still gets paid. If the studios have enough faith in him to give him a shot at a sucess Why does it trouble you so badly?? This guy does what he is paid to do and then he goes back to his beautiful home and wife until the next time. You can ONLY sit at your computer until the next article is printed that you want to rag on him about .

    a fan Says:

What’s so bad about TV . Ashton K is making a million an episode. his wife Blakey made $60,000 an episode on GG. If it is about money I don’t think that is exactly chump change.
