Rose Byrne Steps Out After 'Annie' Casting News

Rose Byrne shops for some groceries with a mystery male friend at a local supermarket on Sunday (July 21) in Los Angeles.

It was reported last week that the 33-year-old Damages actress is in talks to star in the upcoming movie musical Annie, according to Variety.

Rose is in talks to play the role of Grace Farrell, who is the assistant to the Daddy Warbucks character, being played by Jamie Foxx in an updated version of the classic role.

Quvenzhane Wallis is set to play Annie while Cameron Diaz will take on the role of Miss Hannigan.
