Lea Michele Talks Cory Monteith to 'Marie Claire Mexico' Before His Death

Lea Michele is gorgeous on the cover of Marie Claire Mexico‘s August 2013 issue, on newsstands July 30.

The 26-year-old Glee actress took part in the cover shoot and interview for the magazine one month before the tragic death of her boyfriend Cory Monteith.

“It’s more interesting having a relationship with someone you work with because we get more attention because we play boyfriend and girlfriend on the show and we are also in real life. But he is the best person I know, he has made my life so incredible, and I am so thankful for him and not only to have him as a partner but also as a co-worker,” Lea told the magazine about Cory, before his death. “It is important to have someone that supports you and encourage you, someone that makes you feel that you are unstoppable, that you can do anything in the world because you have him.”

While at the shoot, editor-in-chief Ariadne Grant said that Cory arrived to support Lea. “Cory showed up in great spirits and was very nice to everybody there; he even took pictures with whoever asked for it. He just asked for a Coke and stayed there watching the shooting until it was done,” E! Online reports her saying.

Our continued thoughts are with Lea during this difficult time. Bigger cover inside…

That is so sad. They were lovers and friends. It’s great to be with someone great and wish you spend the rest of your lives together and something traggic happens. Be strong, Lea, and God be with you

Reading this is making me feel sick. Such a tragedy. I can’t imagine what Lea’s going through. My heart goes out to her.

Oh my god, that’s so heartbreaking. Did they really need to publish her words about cory after his death. How terrible

This is the most heartbreaking celebrity death I’ve ever heard about. I’ve never been this sad about a death or for the friends and family of the deceased. Cory just had so much left to do in his life, so many great things. I’m going to be sad about this for a long time and especially sad for Lea. When you’ve fallen in love with someone your thinking about the future and it being forever and now that’s all gone.

this is incredibly sad…

I don’t think we can imagine her pain unless we experienced such a tragic loss..

Praying for her and Cory’s family.. Life will never be the same for them..

What a dickhead move to go ahead and publish that interview and you, JustJared, for posting it. Way to rub f’ing salt in Lea’s wounds!

I´m so sad for this!! I love Lea and Cory!!!

Lea looks stunning on this picture, I just didn’t like the headline they pick to this cover ” the show must go on” it was disrespectful to lea.

@Shawna: Seriously shut up. Every other website is writing about this story and there’s no need to name call someone. If she didn’t want the interview to go out, she would have said something. She has THAT power. So back off.

That’s devastating. My thoughts are with her.

he just asked for a COKE? well, that is unfortunate… haha

couldnt they have a bit more respect and cancel this story ??????

Why would they cancel it? Lea loves every bit of publicity she gets. Her publicist leaks things to the media all the time about her.

@anna: Oh shut the f up already. Someone died and you’re still with that crap about her being some fame *****. Get THE FU OUT OF HERE! You hating ****!

I was listening to a tribute to Celine Dion last Saturday and noticed that her song “Because you loved me” would be very appropriate for the “tribute to Finn” episode… and who else than Lea Michele to have the pipes – and the emotion – to sing it!
