Ashton Kutcher Regrets Never Meeting Steve Jobs
Ashton Kutcher makes an appearance on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno on Wednesday (July 24) in Burbank, Calif.
The 35-year-old Jobs actor talked about regretting never being able to meet Steve Jobs, who he plays in the new film.
“I had an opportunity to meet him about six months before he passed away and I was working that day and couldn’t go. In hindsight, I look back and think ‘I had an opportunity to meet the Leonardo da Vinci of our generation’ and I missed it,” Ashton said. “That really affected my decision to take on the role… The day that he died, for me it was almost like, I hear people talking about they knew where they were the day Kennedy died. For me I’ll never forget the moment I heard he died.”
Also appearing on the episode that night was Jayma Mays, whose new film The Smurfs 2 opens on July 31.
FYI: Jayma is wearing a Rachel Zoe outfit and Jean-Michel Cazabat shoes.
