I understand how it got renewed because it is awesome, but I really don’t understand how they’re gonna pull of it off… of course the book is like 2,000 pages long…

I’m still trying to figure out if I like it or not. I reminds me a lot of “LOST” and, for me, that show was a lot of work. The verdict is still out at our house.

Greeeattt – another season of being twisted around like a helium balloon in a hurricane before someone deigns to tell us what in the world the dome actually is.

I was in to wait for 13 episodes. Another 13-22? Not a freaking chance. They can take this and Lost and all the other high concept, 1-note mysteries that they drag out for 100 episodes and shove them…

@Ross Mosschito:

Amen Ross, you said exactly what I felt. When I heard this news on Monday, when I went home I immediately deleted this series from DVR and dropped it from my viewing rotation. It was a good idea when it was a limited run series with a finite conclusion, but to run on like LOST. Oh hell no.

*sigh* Just a remake of the premise of “The Simpsons” movie. How long until we find out Homer dumped a silo of pig manure into the lake, causing this whole thing?

Just read the book and you’ll have your answer.
Of course, they could change it for the series, because it was a bit anti-climatic in the novel (for me, anyway).
