The beginning is good and the rest sucks. I also feel like she took songs from other artist and out them into one song. Not very good in my opinion.

Has an Avril Lavigne / Demi Lovato feel. Sugary pop, but not feelin it after the first few listens…

Really catchy and fresh. It doesn’t sound like any of the TD songs. I love it.

as much as katy is one of the current female leads in the music biz, her songs are really forgettable. they’re not true chart topping songs that stand the test of time and will be heard decades later when i turn 50 or 60 and she isnt alone in this either, its the current generation of “artists” that are being “chosen”. really forgettable songs this past decade, no artists even actually make an effort anymore, except adele (who’s the most legit this decade and beyond) and maybe gaga or beyonce are the exceptions but their personalities are so egotistical because they’re considered the most talented, its sad all around for this industry that musicians actually used to look forward to pursue but now its all rigged, unethical, and unoriginal.

I’m sure it’ll do well on the charts and get overplayed on the radio. I like her singing voice so I like most of her stuff! She seems to keep her song lyrics relevant to her life and what she’s been through, which I like. I hate hearing a song from an artist and it’s just no connection to anything they’ve experienced in their own life.

very catchy, i like it! especially chorus

OH MY GOD! I love it <3

@cat: Yeah, I agree. :( I love Katy but I don’t love this song, I just liked it.

I like the roar song but it sounds to similiar

this song sounds EXACTLY LIKE BRAVE BY SARA BAREILLES. but…why?

It sounds just like “Brave” by Sara Bareilles… Check that song out…

The production sounds like M83-Outro and the vocals are Brave by Sara Bareilles. Shame on you Katy,

So the verses are the exact cadence of the lumineers song “ho hey” and the beat is the exact beat sara barrelles “brave”.. weird weird weird weird.. and this song isn’t as good as either

the sara barelles beat is undeniable.. but listen to the cadence of this song and tell me it’s not the same as well…

I LOVE IT!! It is an awesome song! I love the lyrics and it will be soon be repeating in my head!!!!!

Oh Yeah!!! @ 08/10/2013 at 2:24 pm
