Teen Choice Awards 2013: Top Moments & Stories!

It was an eventful night at the 2013 Teen Choice Awards held at the Gibson Amphitheatre on Sunday (August 11) in Los Angeles.

1. Lea Michele Accepts Award & Gives Tearful Speech

The most buzzed about moment was when Lea Michele stepped out on stage to accept the award for Choice TV Actress: Comedy and gave a tearful speech thanking her fans for their love after the death of her boyfriend Cory Monteith. Her Glee co-stars gave her moral support by standing behind her during the speech and then embraced her in a hug after she finished.

2. The Winners Are Revealed!

More than 85 awards were handed out throughout the evening! There were so many awards that there wasn’t enough time to even announce all the winners during the broadcast. Some of the big winners of the night were The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2 and Pretty Little Liars. Make sure to check out the full winners list!

3. Harry Styles Twerks in the Audience!

One of the funniest moments during the show had to have been when the hosts of the show convinced Harry Styles to get out of his seat and do a twerk for the audience. Following the bit, he took to his Twitter account to say: “Note to self. Don’t ‘twerk’.” LOL!

4. Ashton Kutcher Gives Motivational Speech While Accepting ‘Old Guy’ Award

While accepting his award, Ashton Kutcher gave a nearly four minute speech to motivate the crowd of teens in the audience and the millions watching at home. He talked about how he was a different person before he became an actor and told the crowd about some life lessons he learned before becoming famous. Definitely check out the full speech!

5. Danielle Jonas Debuts a Baby Bump on the Blue Carpet!

It may only be a very, very tiny bump, but Danielle Jonas stepped out for her first official public appearance since announcing her pregnancy with husband Kevin Jonas! We can’t wait until we meet out first Jonas baby and it will be an exciting rest of the year watching her blossom into her pregnancy. Also attending the show with the couple were Kevin‘s younger brothers Nick and Joe.
