Amanda Seyfried: More Films Should Discuss Sexual Issues

Amanda Seyfried leaves the Capitol Radio studios after doing some promo work for her film Lovelace on Tuesday (August 13) in London, England.

The 27-year-old actress was later spotted shopping around London for some goodies in the same outfit! That evening, she changed and headed out to dinner.

“I think a greater discussion about sexual issues is essential in filmmaking. It isn’t something we should shy away from,” Amanda told the BBC. “But this is not a porn movie in any way, as far as I am concerned. It is not erotic. It’s a film about a young woman in a terrible, abusive marriage.”

FYI: Amanda is wearing Hudson jeans.

“More Films Should Discuss Sexual Issues.” What makes you think they don’t, or haven’t?

It’s just that these days, films are used more as propaganda vehicles for demonizing sexuality.

With cultural war, (especially war upon sex and sensuality), such fare is supplanted with ever-increasing violence. Sex consequently, seems more often than not, to now get deliberately portrayed as either pathological, or as an addiction.

So Amanda Seyfried thinks sexual issues = entertainment? Most people are looking for an escape from reality with all the special effects when they spend 7-10$ a show.

boring actress will fade away

Huh? Films serve only as entertainment? What?

In “About Cherry”, the girl is persuaded by her fella, into making risqué pictures and ends up in porn. It is one alternate look at the same industry. In “Trance”, within the story-line, the movie presents a history of the introduction of pubic hair into the great masters’ paintings, (i.e., “art”), starting with “La maja desnuda”, by upstart Francisco de Goya, where up until then, all female nudes were traditionally depicted as smooth.

And sure, even media sans sex can have a message.

By way of example, for sheer modern experimental media, which explores a notion of less-varnished, “reality”, and not “escapism”, (although a formula for possible escape is presented, albeit with short odds), this non-studio, non-cookie-cutter example might warrant more interest:

her film flopped

She’s one of the very few unique, true actresses Hollywood has. Even when she’s gone she will always be remembered. She leaves a very strong indelible impression in everything she does, even her flops.

All trolls die alone and deservingly so.

We know it is not a porn movie. It’s a Biography. And we know you wanted to be in this movie because maybe people will see you as a good actress. She is so pretentious. So boring.

I´ve only seen moviestills so far, but it looks like she´s gonna be completely naked. I wonder if she had to gain some pounds for the role, because she got quite a belly and hughe breasts in the stills. Doesn´t look good at all!
