Michelle Chamuel: 'All I Want' Album Release Date Announced!

The Voice season four runner-up Michelle Chamuel has taken to Facebook to announce exciting details about her upcoming album All I Want!

“On September 10, 2013 – I will be releasing my first entirely self-produced album as The Reverb Junkie, (my solo electronic project). This album is quite different from anything I’ve done before,” the 27-year-old singer shared.

Michelle added, “For this album, I wrote and recorded full songs, then went back and selected my favorite parts – significant words/notes/syllables/etc – and left only those parts. I got to use my voice as an instrument and play with the different sounds it can make. I wrote melodies on bass, piano, strings, synthesizer, guitar, organ, and glockenspiel.”

Check out a new video below of Michelle showing off her guitar skills while singing a cover of The Weepies “Somebody Loved.”

Having listened to and like some of The Reverb Junkie songs, I look forward to this. She has mad talent and great instincts.
I hope she will also produce a vocal focusing “Michelle Chamuel” album. Her Ella Riot days and her simple studio versions of songs are so amazing.

I will definitely buy her album..can’t wait for sept. 10

OUCH! I have to be honest that I am NOT a fan of electronica and reverb. I realize it’s Michelle’s passion, but just not the CD for me. I was really hoping she would dive deeper into the interpretive singing that she worked with Usher on; selfish I guess; but I LOVE her voice (still hear it after all these weeks, dancing around in my head) and wanted more. Oh well, it’s her journey not mine.

Much success Michelle. Follow YOUR dream!

We are like most and found Michelle Chamuel during The Voice. We did a lot of history look up on her. She is a MUSICAL GENIUS. Everyone is saying oh it’s electronica, but I don’t hear that. I did a review on the album. I had it last night the minute it was released. Feel free to check it out and comment as well! http://bboymskitty.wordpress.com/2013/09/10/the-reverb-junkie-all-i-want-aka-michelle-chamuel/

I listened to this new single on YouTube. First I just wanted to say Michelle was fantastic on the Voice and I was rooting for her. However I just heard her new single and it’s not that great, in fact it’s just terrible. Michelle’s musical talent does not match with this type of music. I am sorry it’s not my type of music. The lyrics are distorted, her voice is not that clear, and there is no rhythm and extremely pitchy. I will not buy this CD. I am disappointed.
