Demi Lovato Joins 'Glee' as Rachel Berry's NYC Friend!

Demi Lovato is set to join the cast of Glee in a recurring role for the upcoming fifth season, according to TV Line.

The 20-year-old actress will be playing “Dani, a NYC-based struggling artist friend of Rachel (Lea Michele) and Santana’s (Naya Rivera)” who will also interact with Adam Lambert‘s new character.

Demi‘s arc on the show will last for at least six episodes and she will first appear in the season’s second episode airing on October 3.

Demi is surely no stranger to the Fox network as she is a judge on the competition series The X Factor, which will be airing on the same night as Glee this Fall!
