Fred's Lucas Cruikshank Comes Out as Gay (Video)

Lucas Cruikshank, the creator of the viral videos Fred, which have gone on to become a movie and television shows, has come out as gay.

In a new video posted to his YouTube account, he answers the question “Are you gay?”

“I’m gay. My family and friends have known for like three years. I just haven’t felt the need to post it on the Internet,” Lucas said.

Joining him for his announcement was his good pal Jennifer Veal, who starred in the Disney Channel show, Jessie.

In the video, Jennifer admitted she always knew he was gay even before he came out.
