    worst actor on Fringe

  • Melody

that sounds good, I can totally see him as a cowboy

  • Amy

    I just…

” cowboy who manages a ranch on the eastern tip of Long Island ”

What is wrong with this sentence? LOL

I can’t wait to see JJ in a new series. He is my fav actor. Although the plot doesn’t sound as interesting as I would like for his next gig, I will watch simply because of him.

  • Jo

The premise sounds interesting and I’m loving the actors that are involved. So, I’m hoping this makes it past the pilot stage.

  • Sarah

The show sounds horrible and to top that off, Josh CAN’T act. He needs to find a leading lady that he has great chemistry with, such as Katie Holmes.

Please do not do this to your career Joshua Jackson. I think it is time to move away from TV, even though I very much enjoyed your performance and having you on my TV on regular basis, but that would just be selfish. You could be the next batman when you are 40, (after Ben…) if you play it right. Everything is going up for you, whatever it takes, land a big budget movie. Being a cowboy is not going to diversify the roles you have played. You ended on a high note with fringe, yes, no best actor award were won, but you were solid, very much back on current age sci-fi demographic radar.

So far you have played “you” in most of the movies and TV shows, which your fans adore and love, but it is time to do “12 monkeys”, or any DC comic characters, that it not so “you”.

*”you”- Nice young man, great heart, friendly, humorous, smooth, sweet and “Canadian” nationality (that niceness, credit meal, you go first, {sorry, I cause you trouble}), struggle with some sort of issue with life or family, overcoming relationship issues, this drama and sophisticated persona.

Which this cowboy tv show is going to be about again…you are not in this business to play the same role. I saw a few of your interviews, you should diversify like you say you would, NO more family drama, don’t get boxed in. And from your interviews, you obviously have the intellect to achieve this. There hasn’t been a hit cowboy tv show since color tv, that may be a bit harsh, but I can not think of one on the top of my head.

You have auditioned for Batman and James T. Kirk, I think your fans would have like you in those roles and me personally can totally see you as Batman and James T.Kirk. I think you didn’t get it because in comparison you are not buff and rough enough, and they have a more defined jawline, which is an image you can totally achieve.

You are 35, assuming you are not short of money, dream big, you are in Hollywood, big budget movie only! (or movie that is going to win you an oscar like Argo, or huge romance movie like notebook)

I sincerely hope you could take your career further at this stage, get those characters under your belt and broaden your scope, I am pretty sure you will act till old age, so you get to pick good characters in good movies in the later days. You have to do the ground work now, if it is not already too late. Use that million dollar smile to your advantage. As you are a child star, you don’t look your age, hasn’t change much since your 20′s, only more mature, if you have a clean shave, could totally pass for someone around 25. And you dress so much better and in trend now with Diana approved outfits.

Basing on other big shot movie stars path, I think a romance movie first, then a military role is a must, move on to a super human type of role (spy or half machine, half man), then comedy, then drama if you must.

Please don’t spend the next 5 years doing a cowboy show. By then it would really be too late.

@Sarah: No matter with whom he has chemical, He’s not even the main main protagonist. The main protagonist is Dominic West. The plot revolves around the character of Dominic

  • Ang

@Isa: do you have to be living in another world to believe he has ANY chance starring in a film big budget, he isn’t a great actor or a big name in Hollywood to choose his roles. do you should be glad because he got a job

  • @Lucy

Ang= Isa= same person , also known as Lucy

OH SHUT UP! First you jerks complain about how Josh spending his time with Diane and not on a job, he finds a job and its not good enough?

    God, just shut up!

  • MissMurray

You don’t even know the PERSONALITY of this cowboy, you idiot.

  • Jade86

We can’t judge Josh’s choises just because his character is a cowboy or his new tv show is a drama. We don’t know the details.
Yes, josh said that after fringe he wanted another quality tv show and if he said “yes” to “the affair” means the story is good and i’m sure he read the script before. I too wanted him in another sci-fi project but it’s also jusifiable if josh, after 5 years of fringe, decided to put sci-fi aside for a while and trying new roads.
As MissMurray said, we don’t know Josh’s new character yet but the first synopsis says that he is a hard-edged guy and just because of that it’s a different kind of character for Josh. And just because the story SEEMS to revolve around Dominic West doesn’t mean josh is a minor character. He is among the main protagonists and the story is about TWO MARRIAGES and will be explored by female and male perspectives.

  • heh!

    Lucy, you’re such a sore loser! :D

You go, Josh! I think this could be a good role for him. It’s a departure from his other tv roles and it’s on cable television, so he can do other side projects. He’s a great actor and I’m happy to have him back regularly on television.

Anyone realised the absurd connection here.

PAULA COLE sang the “Dawson’s Creek” theme tune.

COLE is the name of the character that Josh will be playing in “The Affair” as a cowboy/rancher.

Paula Cole had her second tune out called “Where have All The COWBOYS gone?”.

The universe is full of funny synchronicities and has a mad sense of humour huh?!.

Go for it Josh!. I’m sure you’ll knock ‘em dead in this role!.

  • fransartn94

I always had a thing for cowboys… But I think that Josh had to be the cheater…. You know cowboy and cheater would sound hot…
