Barack & Michelle Obama Mark 50 Years of 'I Have a Dream'
President Obama and Michelle Obama are joined by former presidents Bill Clinton and Jimmy Carter to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom on Wednesday (August 28) in Washington, D.C.
It was fifty years ago on that day that Martin Luther King, Jr. stood on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial and gave his historic “I Have a Dream” speech.
The politicians were joined for the ceremony by Oprah Winfrey.
“Celebrating MLK 50th anniversary march at Lincoln memorial. #letFreedomring,” Oprah tweeted that day.
FYI: Michelle is wearing a Tracy Reese dress.
