Harry Connick Jr. Joins 'American Idol' as Season 13 Judge!

Harry Connick Jr. has reportedly sealed a deal to be the third judge on the panel for the thirteenth season of American Idol, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The 45-year-old crooner will be joining returning judges Keith Urban and Jennifer Lopez for this year’s three person panel. Harry has previously appeared on the show multiple times as a guest mentor to the contestants.

There have been rumors swirling that Harry would be signing on after industry professionals Dr. Luke and Scooter Braun both passed on the judging position as the job would interfere with their current careers.

Auditions for the show begin next week so time was of the essence in signing the third judge or else production may have been delayed.
