Michelle Williams: Broadway Debut as Sally Bowles in 'Cabaret'!

Michelle Williams is set to make her Broadway debut as Sally Bowles in Roundabout Theater Company’s revival of the Kander and Ebb musical Cabaret, according to the New York Times.

News of the 32-year-old Oscar nominated actress’ new role was reportedly confirmed by two theater executives familiar with the inner castings at the theater.

Michelle will star alongside Alan Cumming as the M.C., a role he played in 1998 on Broadway that won him a coveted Tony Award that same year.

Performances are aimed to begin in early 2014.
