Angelina Jolie and her lovely children leave Strike Bowling Centre after having an afternoon of fun together on Tuesday (August 10) at the Entertainment Quarter in Moore Park, Australia.

The 38-year-old actress was joined by all six of her kids – Maddox, 12, Pax, 9, Zahara, 8, Shiloh, 7, and five-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox – for the family outing that day.

Good memory PT, it must be that, maybe she told them that her mother grow up near a bowling alley and now each time they visit a new city they don´t forget of that.

But PT don´t give that kind of ideas to the haters-trolls, they will believed and make that some kind of reality or something that Angie have said. You know they are craaaazy….hha haha

Aww poor darlings, trying to keep Pitty connected with Angie through the people Angie is working with. You do know Angie hooked up with the coens through their relationship with Billy, right? Oh you didn’t know that. Ok. Hehe

    Awww, funny bunny.

    You’re so upset.

Can’t handle the truth can you?

Brad’s movie, that he produced and because of him, it got made TYAS is getting rave reviews.

Brad and Angelina are a team. She’s using a lot of the same people that Brad and his production company have and are working with.

Like I said, it’s nice when they can support each other in all aspects.

I’ve just been so dazzled by your bull$hit.

I especially love how your so well versed in the ins and outs of the movie making business. Especially the financial aspects of it all. When you threw down that Brad put a bunch of his own money into WWZ. That was such a thing of pure beauty. It was mind boggling. Boggled the mind. It was of such brilliance that it was as bright, shiny and glaring as Angelina’s engagement ring. And that Angelina chose Australia to get away from Brad. Pure genius on your end. LMAO!

It’s nice for the Australian Press to break it down for you, gangster style about Unbroken and why it’s being filmed in Australia.

    Good times!

@Susan: I know she was a tickys hen, but Sharon might have talked some sense into her. She did say on national tv she would want to spend time with Brad and Angelina. She should have said I worked with Ticky so I know she is fun to spend the weekend with, however, she never mentioned tickys name. Ouch, ouch. Aisha threw her friend under the bus and name dropped Brad and Angelina. Susan, maybe Aisha and Ticky had a falling out, like how she and CC is never seen together again. Ticky is a user, and a fake.

Bookmarks – Mott gets praise in early reviews
    By Ben Steelman
    Published: Saturday, September 7, 2013 at 1:00 p.m.
    Last Modified: Thursday, September 5, 2013 at 5:23 p.m.

Early reviews are strong for “The Returned” by Jason Mott, the Columbus County native who’s an alumnus of both the BFA and MFA programs in creative writing at the University of North Carolina Wilmington.

“Who would have thought there was a fresh way to look at the undead?” commented Entertainment Weekly, which awarded “The Returned” a respectable grade of B+.

“In the end, the zombie-chewed brains of ‘The Walking Dead’ come nowhere near the eternal heart of ‘The Returned,’?” wrote Brian Truitt in USA Today.

Truitt praised Mott for his poetic turn of phrase, and Thom Geier, writing in “Entertainment Weekly,” writes that “Mott turns phrases with poetic grace,” citing the metaphor, “The crowd parted like heavy batter.”

    One sour note

A sour note came from Alan Cheuse, the National Public Radio critic who reviewed “The Returned” for The Boston Globe.

Cheuse compared Mott to the Portuguese Nobel Prize winner for literature Jose Saramago, and allowed that “The Returned” is “a good enough book.” On the other hand, he suggested that Mott was “reinventing the wheel” and concluded, “Is it worth all the fanfare? I’m afraid not.”

Geier complained that the ending “veers into standard thriller territory, with hints of Nicholas-Sparks-level mawkishness.”

On the other hand, Cheuse noted that the novel “should make you want to watch this new writer to see where he goes next.”

Meanwhile, the TV-series version of “The Returned” – renamed “Resurrection” – is scheduled to premiere March 14 on ABC. Brad Pitt’s Plan B production company bought up rights to Mott’s novel just as Harlequin MIRA was bidding for publication.

Mott told Entertainment Weekly that he had seen the pilot episode (filmed in Atlanta) and was enthusiastic.

“Once they got Omar Epps to play one of the leads, I was 100 percent behind it,” he said.

Epps, most memorable as one of the put-upon young doctors on TV’s “House,” is slated to play Agent Bellamy, a well-meaning but ambiguous character from the novel.

    On Prologue

One final note: Mott will be the guest author for Prologue, the StarNews/WHQR book club, in November.

@Observer2: I think it’s pretty clear why Angie is 20hrs away from Pitty, instead of in hawaii. Besides the tax break because Hawaii would’ve been cheaper for universal.

The ring is a good one for the Fftards. If Angie really wanted the attention they say she craves she would simply remove the ring. She keeps it on because she doesn’t need the press.
Nice try claiming those are Pitty’s guards.not. Those are Angie’s since pre Pitty and some new Australians.

I remember Coen Brothers were trying to team up with Brad on a film with almost exact plot like Unbroken, I think it is called “white sea”, but it wasn’t a true story and it didn’t get made. I think Brad suggested Coen brothers to Angie since they had similiar script already.
Angie hasn’t started filming yet, no way she just finalized location and started shooting immediately, she is still on pre production phase. Fury director has worked in London preparing Fury for almost 3 months. Looks like Brad will finished Fury before Unbroken starts filming, so Brad can take care of kids while Angie is really busy in filming. Brad and Angie always plan ahead.

Zamperini: Story of survival has Hollywood ending

Louis Zamperini’s life story could be going Hollywood with some big talent behind it. Angelina Jolie reportedly will direct a film on Zamperini, and the renowned Coen brothers, Ethan and Joel, are slated to write the final script.

Jolie had a full crew up at Zamperini’s house in the Hollywood hills a few weeks ago to film, said his daughter, Cynthia Garris, who also doubles as his manager.

Jolie is doing budgeting, location scouting and casting, said Garris, who added that the project hasn’t officially been greenlighted yet. She indicated that Jolie has a relatively unknown actor, whom she wouldn’t name, in mind to play her dad in his younger years. Much of the film will be shot in Hawaii, Garris believes.

“She’s a very passionate woman,” she said of Jolie. “We are thrilled to have her in our life.”

Zamperini’s son Luke called Jolie a “powerhouse,” adding, “I’m really hopeful she’s going to do this story the right way.”

Jolie and her famous actor-husband, Brad Pitt, attended Zamperini’s 96th birthday party in late January, Garris said. When Pitt asked her dad if he wanted someone younger than Pitt to portray him, Zamperini shot back, “No, someone better looking.”

Shiloh and Knox are the sunshine kids. Those two seem to have smile or an implish glint in their eyes no matter what’s going on around them. Occasionally Knox breaks out his “Leave me alone, you stooge!” scowl, but not very often. I remember when Shiloh was a baby Angie called her something like, “My little ray of sunshine”…then said Shiloh reminded her of herself and “…that one’s going to be some trouble…” You know she and Z (and Viv) can “do no wrong” in Brad’s eyes. Look at those faces. No father would be able to punish those two girls without feeling bad about it afterwards and easing up on the punishment. That’s why Angie has to do it.

oh here is one of the Annie Wilkes-type of fans are creaming themselves at the thought of seeing Heroina’s monstrous nipples again.

These loons wouldn’t mind snatching Ho, tying her up and taking her to live in their basements where they would spend their days watching and reenacting scenes from MAMS over and over, with these beasts playing Pitty’s part.

Good thing Heroina gets off on bondage and S&M games and she’s gone on record as claiming to be she’s the actress most likely to sleep with her female fans.

I don’t know if this review of TYAS has been published on this site already but I think that is is probably my favorite on so far. Just love the intensity of it.
———————————————————————————————————On a Friday night in the small mountain village of Telluride, Colo., an anxious crowd awaited the premiere of the film “12 Years a Slave.” Two hours of horrified, stunned silence later, the audience erupted into applause.

The film is based on and named after the memoirs of Solomon Northrup, a free black man who was kidnapped and sold into slavery during the mid-19th century. “12 Years” comes to the public courtesy of director Steve McQueen. Before anyone thinks that a ghost directed this movie, this is a different Steve McQueen, not to be confused with the famed actor who died in 1980. The “12 Years” McQueen notably directed the films “Hunger” and “Shame,” both critically acclaimed for their high quality and graphic content. “12 Years” is McQueen’s third film and his most high profile project to date, and it was finally shown to the public for the first time on Aug. 30 at the Telluride Film Festival.

“12 Years” is likely not only the greatest slave movie ever made but also one of the most beautiful, affecting, and haunting films I have ever had the pleasure of watching. The most noteworthy component of the movie, and one that every viewer should be aware of going into it, is that it is horrendously graphic. The amount of physical abuse in the film is nauseating, but the uncomfortable feelings the film evokes are one of its major strengths. “12 Years” is an unflinching, unrestrained look at the morbid reality of slavery, and McQueen handles the subject with grace and aplomb. Blood sprays in mists from the back of the characters as they are whipped, and ear-splitting screams erupt with each crack. This is as realistic as it can get, and the faint of heart should take note. While no one should avoid this film because of the graphic content, it would be unfair go in without a warning.

Another triumph for “12 Years” comes from the performances of its cast, and a few of its members will undoubtedly win Oscars this coming award season. Leading man Chiwetel Ejiofor turns in a tour de force as Solomon Northrup, and I can’t imagine another actor outperforming him this year. It’s that good. Also included in the cast is the great Michael Fassbender, who starred in both of McQueen’s previous films. Fassbender portrays the villainous plantation owner Edwin Epps, and, as always, his contributions are remarkable. With Benedict Cumberbatch, Paul Dano, Paul Giamatti, and producer Brad Pitt all taking their turns, a bevy of supporting characters flow in and out of the story. However, the best supporting role comes by way from newcomer Lupita Nyong’o, who gives an unforgettable performance as Epps’ favorite slave, Patsey. The way in which the actors and actresses in the film are able to identify with and express the characters is simply amazing. It’s difficult to imagine any of them being beaten out for Academy Awards.

At the end of the day, though, it’s McQueen’s distinct directing style that ties it all together. Anyone who doesn’t understand how a film can be considered art should see this movie, because it’ll all make sense after this one. McQueen not only has an eye for beautiful and well constructed shots, but he also understands the finer points of filmmaking and that simple, subtle techniques can contribute to a final product immensely. For instance, the seemingly slow pace of “12 Years” is deliberate and excruciating; two hours ends up feeling like somewhere around three or four. This is all in service to the experience, as it then becomes very upsetting to imagine how long 12 years of slavery must have felt to the protagonist.

Another perennial McQueen technique is his use of long take, and while it is used sparingly, it makes a grand appearance here. A long take is a technique used in film where a scene (or, more rarely, a whole film) does not contain breaks within the shot and tends to be lengthier than the other scenes. One specific instance of this long take results in one of the most gut-wrenching, horrifying moments of the film. Trust me; just see the movie and you’ll know exactly what I’m talking about. Overall, there is a good fluctuation between moments of raw emotion and cold detachment, and with the sheer volume of gruesome scenes, it’s impressive that McQueen was able to squeeze out as much passion as he did from the story.

Let me be clear: I am aware of how glowing this review is, and of how much I’m gushing over this movie. Make no mistake though; “12 Years a Slave” is a triumphant film, a victory not only for McQueen but also for every single person involved. The film is currently making its rounds at several film festivals in anticipation of its Oct. 18 release, and each showing brings more and more glowing reviews and calls fo

Apparently the trollsl think you just show up somewhere, whip out the cameras and actors and start filming. She doesn’t have a traditional job herself so she doesn’t understand how one’s work is usually predicated on the work of others. In the trolls’ line of work they’re used to just laying on their backs and letting the “client” get on with it. Or getting their knees as the “client” whips it out. Therefore the idea of “pre-production” is unfamiliar to them.

  • valis202

TYAS is gonna slay come awards time. Even though Gravity is getting amazing reviews, people are not gushing about it the way that they are TYAS. And the other big contenders such as Osange County, the film about Nelson Mandela and the Fifth Estate about Julian Assange have hardly set the festival alight.

Though I hope that TYAS as a piece of art will see it well through the Oscars, you get the impression that Steve, Michael and Chiwetel are not prepared to play the awards BS that Clooney and Weinstein have perfected to an art form and I hope that this does not disadvantage them come the Oscars.
